Kitzbühel - Pass Thurn 1300 Meter - Mittersill - Krimml, landschaftlich schöne Strecke

The road from Kitzbühel over the Pass Thurn - 1273 meters over Sea - is a scenic route. This leads from Tyrol to Salzburg into the most western part "Pinzgau", where the Salzach springs. It goes steeply from Pass Thurn to Mittersill, a 5300 inhabitants community - 800 meters, at the foot of the Hohe Tauern National Park. "Unfortunately" a lot of traffic, because from here the Felber Tauernpass leads to the Adriatic Sea. At the end of the valley lies Krimml with the Krimmler Ache, the highest waterfall in Austria. - • SALZBURG - KRIMMLER WA... - .
From there it goes only on the Gerlos pass further on, on to 1628 meters, again to Tyrol into the Zillertal. Road Nr.: 161 und 165

Die Straße von Kitzbühel über den Pass Thurn - 1273 Meter üb. d. Meer - ist eine landschaftlich schöne Strecke. Diese führt von Tirol nach Salzburg in den westlichsten "Pinzgau", wo die Salzach entspringt. Steil geht es vom Pass Thurn nach Mittersill, einer 5300 Einwohner Gemeinde - 800 Meter ü.d.M.-, am Fuß des Nationalparks Hohe Tauern. "Leider" viel Verkehr, weil von hier der Felber Tauernpass an die Adria führt.
Am Ende des Tales liegt Krimml mit dem Krimmler Ache, dem höchsten Wasserfall Österreichs. - • SALZBURG - KRIMMLER WA... - .
Von dort geht es nur wieder über den Gerlos Pass weiter, auf 1628 Meter, weiter, wieder nach Tirol in das Zillertal. - Bundesstraße 161 und 165.-
