What I love about the Cadenza is how well it scales with a good source. I thought it was thin with its stock cable through a iPhone but when I attached a Letshouer 4.4 balanced cable and played through my HiBy R5 Saber it was outstanding. Easily as good as anything I own up to $200.
@@Quixorion .. Very cool! 👍😎 Interesting, Google deleted my reply where I said I got the purple ones and because I couldn't help myself and I also got the matchy matchy purple Linsoul Tripowin Zonie cable.
@@DJaquithFL I bought the red ones …they will be arriving on Tuesday along with 7hz Zero which I also ordered…I will be updating with my impressions once I get them ….I cannot believe that 3 people rated them straight above Dusk and 64 Audio !…I need to hear it myself in order to believe it
It's a 42% increase in price to go to the C3. My impression is that you did think one was better than the other, but that it didn't justify that over 40% difference in cost. If you think to people who earn much lower incomes around the world, the Cadenza is a way in to the audiophile scene for them at all. Personally I picked some up because I lost my wireless earbuds and I've found I mostly use them on my laptop, so I could very well do with some cheap IEM's. Those earbud cases just slip out of pockets so easily getting out of the car... sigh. Looking forward to their arrival.
C3 is more comfortable it has the same shell as TinHiFi T3 Plus and those are one of the most comfortable IEMs especially if you use them with moondrop spring tips
It’s crazy that beryllium and titanium are all the rage in the iem community “now”, as we’ve been using them in voicecoils and horn drivers for decades.
@@spamcan9208 I had some involvement with manufacturers in the 80s and 90s. If they could coat a 20mm horn diaphragm with beryllium back then, why not a 10mm Iem diaphragm. ? Quick answer is there wasn’t any Iems except custom musicians, and they took the design of hearing aids with ba’s which I thought sucked. For decades all the public had was cheap earbuds. The “Ch-Fi” iem market is only 10-15 years old. I think they’ve blasted the so called “pro” brands out of the water, but I’m surprised it took them this long to find titanium and beryllium, which like I said we were using for decades. I can now carry a case full of great sounding iems for the cost of one ie900. If these “legacy “ cos aren’t careful they are Goinna lose out because they all are way overpriced compared to many Chi Fi units that perform better.
9:03 disagree that all these are the same because half a db here 1 db there makes each of the ones listed distinct from another. For example the Chu’s 6K elevation gives a fatiguing metallic shimmer while not having enough mid and sub bass to balance out. Or the Hola is dark tilted so much that the mid bass is over powering to my ears and bleeds into the mids and I find myself increasing the volume just to get a satisfying upper mid/treble experience. Or the 7Hz Zero lacking just a tiny bit over bass elevation that would tame and balance out its sometimes sharp upper mids/treble. Maybe it’s just my ears are unpractically sensitive 🥲
Yes, of course they are slightly different but they're only variations of the same skeleton. At the end of the day, it comes down to what type of sound you like and whether you want an engaging, emotional experience or if you want to hear every minor detail. After that, there's design and comfort.
I'm looking for something inexpensive to use at night in bed and this seems to fit the bill between the comfortable shell and relaxed sound. I like that purple is available too. Your refreshing drink analogy is what convinced me to buy them lol. Bonus points if I can rest my head on its side.
Not only the bass but something about the high end on the Cadenza that I didn't like compared to the C3. I've spent waay too much money on budget IEM's in 2022 and think I will stick to the C3 as long as I can.
which one do you prefer for balance warm sounding iem with better soundstage , slightly bass and treble boost(not too harsh just for little airiness ), better midrange ? Ziigaat Nuo vs Cadenza vs Blon bl 03 bs zero 2 or something better which is widely available. Thanks for the video and best of luck
Hey, how does it compare with EW200? Either of these is going to be my first IEM. I listen to all sorts of music from devotional to rock. Additionally, I want my IEM to be neutral yet have just enough bass and a crystal clear and detailed treble. So which one of these 2 would do my ears some justice?
I have well over a dozen chifi sets. I have 2 other berrylumin iems fh3 and urbanfun. This set competes with both sets. For 35 bucks its amazing. Does nothing really wrong. Probably not as musical as I like, also could use more of that beryllium shimmer/magic. Biggest knock which is really not that big at price is the treble. Although soild, it it had more weight to the treble response this would be unreal. Otherwise super soild tuning at an unbeatable price.
I hear mostly melody, classical music and some times rock music and watch movie. I choose the some iems like cca pla13, kz pr3, kz zs10 pro x, kiwi ears cadenza which iem i am go to pls suggest me one iem.
Hey, Dave. Are you gonna review another twin of C3? It's TKZK Ouranos. Ouranos also has beautiful shell design and good cable. Ouranos also has similar pricing as the C3. And they also sound similar, of course I can't make up my mind buying either C3 or Ouranos
Hi! I have these headphones but they seem to be a little too big for me (I'm not talking about tips, just whole headphones), after a few hours or using them every day, my auricles hurt. Do you recommend any smaller headphones of similar quality? Will e.g. Moondrop Aria be more comfortable?
Play guitar in a band and been hyped for these, but you said electeic guitars might sound dull.. what iems in the 30-100usd range would be good for a guitar player that plays in a rock band?
Since tired "that again" Harmon curve is shared by these, Tin Hifi C2, C3 and T4. What $50 set that FR is not Harmon do you recommend? Only own KZ CRN & KBear OS1 Pro, (Genres Classic/80s/90s Rock and New Wave)
Try iem with harman FR tuning those iem you own are pure GARBAGE!. There’s a reason why most ppl like harman curve. As a soundtechnician try it you’ll find yourself pleased with those iems and stop buying garbage stuff.
@@CC-tk9xw The KBear was my first IEM just to see if I could tolerate in ears. The KZ was a gift. Looking at $50 price point, would appreciate specific recommendation instead of criticism.
I really depends on how and when you plan to use them. If I'm only staying at my desk, I prefer headphones. But for any kind of mobility IEMs are awesome. For $150 I'd buy the Letshuoer S12 Pro or Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro.
It's not weird. If you look at more graphs you'll see it's pretty similar to the rest. Some others use more aggressive smoothing and some just don't know what they're doing. Besides, it's commonly known that results above 10kHz are unreliable for IEC711 couplers.
The cable is dunu titan s cable, l had to check my titan s just to be sure.. I think some of these Chinese earphones makers all go to the same lady for their graphs. They just point to the latest graphs on her computer and she charge them accordingly.💃🤔😂🤣Cheers.
