I am from Santiago de Chile, I studied classical percussion several years ago, from 1999 to 2005, and for four months I have had a marimba again after 15 years without playing a single key ... well, I really like your style of composing, I see that this piece is not yet in steve weiss, let me know, to send me to request my corresponding copy, it reminds me a lot of rotations by eric sammut, a hug from chile, Cristóbal Zurita Quintanilla
Yeah man!! I'm glad someone made this connection. Sammut is by far my favorite composer/biggest inspiration in writing marimba literature, so I use a lot of his ideas all over my music (also alot of Smadbeck). I am glad someone caught this, I would not have any music published without first learning his works (Rotations, Cameleon). -Lorick
