I bought the Kizer cyber truck knife for $35. I bought it to do 1 job and it it’s destroyed then I didn’t spend a ton of money. It arrived I opened it and brought it to the area I was working on which required a scraper. I worked for 2 hours and at the end I figured it’s smoked by now, and possibly unusable. Didn’t even throw a burr or flat out ruined it! I honed it stropped it and it’s been in my pocket since. What I did not check until later was the blade steel of bohler M390. Kizer is making a lot of awesome knives. I keep finding more knives from them because of the quality and the price points!!
You can't ask for better folks than Neo and his folks. I was talking to him when you came to the table. No hat, and a grey T-shirt. Told him I needed to let him go, since ou were coming, and he said he said he had an appointment to see you. Told me he'd see me at the Meet and Greet later. Was hoping you were coming. We had to hear Beez give a speech instead. LOL
I watched this with my dad and son and when you picked up the hawk I went " 😮 oooow I like that" You immediately said the same. 😅 and both of them just stared.😂😂😂😂 We have good taste 😅. Love the videos man
that 80's FC Militaw is the HOTNESS. I asked multiple times with BHQ and they censored my question every time! I'm guessing they may have some delay or it may have been bought by a competitor for an exclusive.
I've loved the action and quality on every Kizer I've ever bought. They have great deals on their own website too. (and they ship from CA so it's cheap for West Coasters)
Good for them trying to upgrade the knives, also like a WE knife. I love Kizer because of the great knives at a great price point. I don't know how I fell about this. Should the do what Civivi and WE did, make the extra premium a different brand name?
If the milita had a frame lock like Bokers Trapper, where it’s kind of a bolster lock or sub frame lock then I’d be all over it, it’s too hard for me to open regular frame locks, I can’t seem to not put pressure on the lock bar. I have broken hands.
Hi Stassa, I bought a lot of Kizer knives this last couple of years and I bought the fixed blade smolts and haven’t received it yet but soon. I don’t know what to compare 3v steel too. Could you give me an idea 💡 please!! Thank you Dave
CPM-3V is an extremely durable and tough powder metallurgy steel that will give you exceptional toughness, with above average wear resistance at the edge, with it's only negative attribute being it is not a stainless steel and contains just 7.5% chromium. You will find that a majority of knives (fixed and folders) with 3V blades usually have a PVD, DLC, or Cerakote coating to deter oxidation and corrosion from occurring. If you live in a relatively dry environment with very little to no humidity (i.e. not Florida, Hawaii, Louisiana), then the lackluster corrosive factor probably won't even negatively effect your day to day use. If heat treated properly, it will be similar to S30V in edge retention, and on par with 5160 and Z-Tuff in toughness (meaning some of the toughest steel in the business). Hope this helped!
Kizer did not set the trend on the shiny dlc. Militaw was the first knife I saw them use it on and that was after kunwu padre. Someone else probably did it before Kunwu, but I don't think it was kizer.
Please whatever you do, the muskrat is allergic to D2 please do not use D2 I really liked and I great looking knife you'll ruin it if you put it in D2❤
You know who cares about the damn price point we don't want s*** steel quit lowering yourself you make a beautiful product and then you make it out of a turd😢
