Hi! I’m Tara, the dance doctor. Welcome to my channel! In this video I teach 3 basic kizomba steps followed by kizomba hip actions you can apply to each one. At the end I teach a practice routine to help you apply these movements in a sequence while dancing to music.
***Kizomba is an Angolan dance, it has no Latin roots. I do however use “Latin motion” techniques to teach proper weight transfer and hip motion in this dance. I appreciate all of your comments wanting to protect the origins of this beautiful dance and I apologize for not making them explicit in the beginning of the video.
