Kiki, I truly appreciate for your thoroughness. I've perused this brand time after time because - let's face it - it is beautifully presented. Viewing your video, however, I can see that the colors ( I looked trough several items at the site, not just the foundation) just aren't going to work for my dead-on neutral, fair (usually whatever the fairest color offered is) coloring. You've saved me from an expensive mistake. Many thanks.
Your skin looks really pretty with this tint. I also admire the blush and lip colors on you. I love this fresh-faced, natural esthetic. I am going to order the cream eye shadow because it looks so beautiful on you and am so happy it did set up and not crease. This will actually be the first cream shadow I have bought in decades because of my hooding. Thank you for the demonstrations.
@@TheHoodedLid Thank you. I was thinking of trying it as a highlighter too. I have an Atelier stick I love but it will be nice to have a gold-toned one.
I've recently bought her cream blush in Inner Glow and Happy. With a tan a little bit of Inner Glow can work as a nice highlight. I love the formula and I'm keen to try her other products. Also, it's always an added bonus when a US brand delivers free (over £50) and quickly to the UK.
may I just say thank you so much for the way you do your reviews, not only the verbal descriptions, but also thank you for using some decent natural lighting so I can actually see the shades and colours. It is beyond tiring that so many videos have 19 3/4 year olds who then also use tons of filters and always exrteme light on their faces so you can see absolutely NOthing of what the foundations do or don't. Especially in my age group mid 40s it's zero helpful to have that those totally overexposed. glaring foundations reviews, so this was such a positive suprise here for a change, thanks!
Ok I was waiting until you had this review uploading. The color was confusing… now I can’t wait to see the review, back to the video… can’t wait to see if you love it…. In my cart waiting.
I had heard she was coming out with a new foundation product and I was wondering about it. Thank you for reviewing it. Your final look in the conclusion section looked amazing! It is too bad it darkens as the day goes on. I'm not sure if I will give it a try or. not. I have loved her cheek products and loved the cream foundation, but it broke me out as well! So disappointing because I loved the color match and how it looked.
I wrote in the description box that I remembered my shade wrong it and it was Ethereal that matched me, which means F4 in this product. I've reached out to KW to see if we can do an exchange. This is just the wrong color for me. I did wear it for two days without a pimple - so that's promising!!
I discovered you through this video and I'm peeved that RU-vid has never put you in my search results before--because I love how you approach makeup and how thoughtfully you discuss the products. I was looking for a swatch of Kjaer Weis Golden eyeshadow, but am now working my way through your past videos!
Thank you, Kiki. This looks beautiful on you. I love the base and blush especially. I am very close in skin tone to you - maybe exactly. I have the KW tint in F2 - fair 2 - and it’s perfect on me all day. I’m in love with the brand having just discovered it. I wear a lot of spf and this is lovely over it instead of foundation, and has a perfect color correcting effect regardless of sunscreen color or cast, the best I’ve found. I love the scent too. Please share where I can find a mirror like your handheld magnifier! Many thanks
Yes - I mention in the description box that I got the wrong shade F4 is probably right for me. My mirror! I love this mirror and have had it for many years. I have not seen one like it.
@@TheHoodedLid Hi, I think you can add this comment and pin to the top. you're sincerely replying to all comments about the color, that has got to be time consuming, so just a suggestion if that helps!
I’m hoping to get F4 now that you’ve found the color comparison to Etherealist. I consider myself a light medium skin tone but more and more I find that I’m falling into the “light” category for foundation shades.
It wouldn't be your jam, but the KW cream blush in Abundance is a favorite of mine. It looks awful in the pan, described as plummy taupe with iridescent finish. It is SO sophisticated and I don't need a highlighter. LOVE.
Based on the web site, I thought F4 would be right. I'm a blend of B10 (1/3) and B20 (2/3). Then I watched Michele's review and went with F1. I have several cheeks and have only tried her powder eyes. Think I might try the cream eye now.
I had been matched with ethereal in the cream formulation, but it seemed too orange and oxidized as time went on. I’m considering weightless, but want to avoid talc, which they usually have in the lighter shades. I love the cream formula with their beauty oil (I use it before applying on my face as well as I mix it into the product). It leaves the perfect texture for my dry skin. Thank you for your review on their new product. Everything seems to look so good on you! Still not sure if I should go with this or Westman Atelier.
I think it look great ….which Color do you have or put…I thought I heard you say at the beginning M1? However I see F4 on the sideline info. I bought the F4 and it is def not perfect, thought a bit yellow but dried down a good bit darker……it is for sure ok, but it really does deepen. I’m wondering if you have the 2 Color’s or was I hearing things…..which is entirely possible lol! In any event,it looks super on you. Elaine
Great review Kiki. I ordered a kjaer weis blush after trying a few samples. However the one I received was dry and went on patchy, not at all like the samples. I believe I got an old one somehow. They are beautiful when fresh.
Thank you! So VERY different. This is not moisturizing like the Westman Atelier drops which is based in oils. The WA best for skin looking for comfort in dry weather (and dry skin) OR if you don't have much to cover, a sheer layer would be great for normal to dry. The KW has a bit more coverage, but don't skip your moisturizer if you're skin is on the dry specturm
I wish Chanel made a shade B25. The 30 is too dark. I know that Lisa Eldridge uses B20 and I use shade 11 in her foundation like she does but especially in the summer I don’t think 20 has quite enough color. Thanks for the review of this skin tint. I ordered it in F4.
Good point! I think to some extend - but it depends on the sunscreen. Something occlusive may block skincare - for instance, a waterproof sunscreen probably has a film former that could block skincare.
Yes, it's true. Many European brands don't within Europe. But since this is a smaller brand, they have not adopted the US business model. But you can buy at Beautylish who do accept returns and their customer service is fantastic.
Hope your heart is beginning to heal after losing Lucy, Kiki. On another note, I went to apply my beautiful tint over a chemical sunscreen this morning and it was like applying the old paste to my face. A mess for sure. I will try the DRMTLGY sunscreen tomorrow but wanted to mention it in case you had some sunscreen suggestions to go under the tint.
The finish looked good on you, but such a shame about the colour - looked far too peachy/gold. Loved the cheeks but that colour and the lip colour seemed to clash on my screen. Not one for me, I’m afraid - thank goodness you try them out first! :-)
Yes, I had good luck using a pencil on the lip and then go in with the tint - the tint alone just doesn't work on me! Color F4 is the color that I should have bought. I said in the description box that I THOUGHT I bought Feathery in the Foundation, but it was Ethereal which would be F4 in this formula.
@@TheHoodedLid Regardless, your skin is beautiful. I noticed your speech has definitive tones, particularly certain vowels. It made wonder what profession you are, or have been in.
