Thank you for answering that , one sister was buried and one sister was cremated , and both were saved and it was because couldn’t afford two funerals at the same around the same time ! Praise The Lord for his mercy endures forever! 💕I Love Jesus Christ, my Saviour!💕
And I agree with your summary in respect that it is not solid doctrine, therefore it should not be held in high regard as our convictions and standards; but, rather, it is a preference and should not be a source of division amongst the brethren. All of the examples that were just given, are all old testament, and committed upon God‘s people by the heater. However you bring up an excellent point: I believe the heathen a rebelling against God’s ability to restore the body by burning it, but it is a useless endeavor in the light of the power of God.
I don’t know that it’s on biblical, Ed. My father died while visiting my older sister in London. The logistics and expense of transporting the body back to Phoenix Arizona was prohibitive
