Horses for courses. KLRahul for England and South africa not for Asia and Australia. he can play swing well but not bounce. Sarfraz wont do shiet in australia. He gets out to stupid shot like all the OX batsman did. I go by Chinese astrology to understand their energy and how they deal with pressure. Sundar is my first pick for australia Even 2nd test i bring sundar to counter aussie fast bowlers and dead bat them in tail What happened in first test was no one was able to counter the new fast bowler in tail. Its like Tail started from KL rahul. Not a good sign

If you need a cushion in batting at no.9, then you don't believe in your selected players. Batting till 8 is enough. If you have many all rounders, that's fine. But don't add someone just for the sake of no.9 batting

What i belived observed about kl rahul whenever he is in form he gets injured unfortunately. It happened multiple times. Also position also keeps changing that also changing mindset .cheeks is right taking divine help is needed its no joke sometimes it helps alievates unfortun. My XI for Pune: Jaiswal, Rohit, Sarfaraz, Virat, KL Rahul, Jadeja, Jurel (wk), Ashwin, Axar, Bumrah, A Deep I will go with Jurel incase Pant needs to be rested due to injury he sustained in the last test I believe that Pune will favor the spinners more; better off to go with 3 spinners and 2 pacers. Jaiswal should be tried with few partime stuff like what Oz generally do with batters like Smith, Head and Marnus occasionally to give a breather to regulars. Hope you all with me, folks?

I think sometimes even critics can fail to assess things well. KLRahul has been so much backed up but he doesn’t perform like a senior player. He is still nervous and need player at the other end to release pressure. Leave him out. Let him play Ranji or domestic and come back. If Ajinkya and Pujara who performed better in Tests can be left out, KL can very well be

Cheeka, turning track will backfire. It evens out considerably. Don't talk rubbish saying that NZ doesn't have any spinners. Remember ordinary bowlers like Steve O'Keeffe, Tod Murphy, Hartley, Basheer etc all have troubled India. India are no more comfortable playing spinners. Chumma varanum, ennathayo olaranum and Campa va promote pannanum. Edhu dhan velai ongallukku.

My best XI for tour down under in the batting order (Subject to everyone's fitness) : Jaiswal, Gill, Sarfaraz, Virat, Pant (wk), Hardik, Jadeja, Ashwin, A Deep, Bumrah, Siraj I did not include Rohit here simply bcoz I heard that he is not gonna be there for the first 2 tests. Hardik should push himself to play at least in this high-profile series. If Shami is available I will pick him in place of Siraj, the latter seems to have lost his mojo of picking up wickets regularly of late. On the other hand, A Deep looks pretty good with pace and control also a lot more stuff using the long handle to good effect for cameos in the backend. Hardik's presence in the MO will lend Ind a perfect balance as an allrounder that too on pacy Aussie pitches, he could be more than handy
