KL sinkhole: SAR operation enters seventh day

The operation to find the Indian woman who went missing in a sinkhole incident at Jalan Masjid India in Kuala Lumpur on Aug 23 entered its seventh day on Thursday (Aug 29) with rescuers entering the Indah Water Konsortium sewage pump station in Pantai Dalam once again to detect the victim.

Government should review which construction company in charge of building the street floor. The quality of materials are ungraded ? Is the underground architectural design approved by government ? This is natural disaster or project failure ?

Sink holes are natural causes but it can be prevented like landslides. The problem is that it is not easy to find know where and when a sink hole will form. You could very well spend a lot of money on it to find 1 or 2 that people might think you are wasting money. Prevention always makes people think you are wasting money because nothing has happened. But when something happens, people will blame why no prevention effort
