That's the only thing I really complain to Klab, the boosts/barriers/heals being always melee. they need to fix that next

its episode 304 the halloween episode. all the og halloween characters are from that episode barrier is the odd one out. barriers can be ranged or melee depending on the character which makes it even dumber the others are always melee. The trap came out later than barriers.

This is why I wish they would add melee/ranged resist nullification (NOT Maruader/Sharpshooter) to the bonus slot abilities. Having Toshiro get damage off of his SA3 is well worth taking a whole slot.

These designs come from a colorspread in the manga. Pierrot as usual made them filler episodes because they loved filler. If we get seasonals for each cool design Tite made we would have units for ages. My favourite of them all are the 'Ibicenca' party designs.

I really wish they would not classify those moves as Melee atks if its a ranged character. Especially considering GQ has rules that automatically nerf/negate your damage. All because your range character has a boost/heal/barrier.

To me, its so easy for them to change how boosts and special attacks work for ranged... they really should make that change asap!

Oof. On top of doing 1 damage, frozen enemies dont get pushed back by the sa1 meaning even less damage. His kit worked against him💀

I didn't realise this before but this is so bad, they made him for this mode and then cut his legs like what

even if he had sharpshooter his sa3 would do no damage since his attack is melee it needs marauder

Outside GQ this Toshiro is definitely a top Spd character. But to me, this isn't reminiscent of the Ninny issue where she just doesn't have the dmg output when her Gauge isn't active. This is something that is wrong with the game at its core. The fact that all the Effect SAs (boost, debuff, trap, heal, etc) are always classed as melee damage comes from an outdated sense of the game. Way back in the day some characters had a mix of melee and ranged attacks, and it was nice for things like extreme co-op. But the design of characters has evolved. Modern day designs for characters are universal attack types, all melee or all ranged. Even quest design has pushed the need to have one or the other in your whole kit since they've thrown melee/ranged resist in the rules more often. Now, before this Toshiro it has been a minor inconvenience, but the fact that KLab clearly designed Toshiro to be a GQ unit and one of his SAs does literally 1 (times however many hit count it has) damage in GQ literally kills the character for his designed game mode. Will a well transcended Toshiro still preform better as a main runner than anyone except maybe Balgo? Probably. But that is because KLab split the GQ too early so we have barely any decent options. Give this Toshiro a more common killer and he would actually be dead on arrival.

I would have to agree what you said when it comes to Momo and here’s hoping everyone can get her that wants to go off and try to get her anyways as for me, I’m going to try to get better feeling a little under the weather right now. And I have not been getting on Bleach as much as I should be.

How could they miss that. They built him for guild quest but his third is counted as a melee this is so dumb. I have no desire to get this character besides, just saying I have it.
