The fact Stefan went through all of this FOR ELENA and for Damon to and Elena still chooses Damon over him and Damon steels he's gf poor Stefan deserves SO MUCH better😢😢
The SIREBOND took from Elena the FREE will to choose Stefan again. It does NOT matter if the sirebond is broken or NOT. It’s a BOND that makes the SIRED person/ELENA NOT have FREE will and NOT be able do TRULY whatever they want. The near kiss scene in season 5 shows it at best. Elena wants to TRULY kiss WHOLEHEARTED Stefan, she was the one who leaned forward to kiss Stefan. Stefan just waited if he understood the signal correctly. It shows how much FREEDOM the SIREBOND took from Elena ‼️‼️ LITERALLY NOTHING changed between Stefan and Elena after „choosing“ Damon. The sirebond maybe separated Elena from Stefan sexually but NOT from loving him. Bc of the BOTTOM line Stefan and Elena TRUE EPIC LOVE story. But Damon is the THIRD point of the triangle. The producers implemented the sirebond to let Elena ACT OUT for Damon but NOT with Stefan ‼️‼️
