Buy the equipment just in case and if you are a f2p its would be impossible to max it anytime soon considering you must be using giant gauntlet and frozen arrow , so just upgrade it to lvl 15 - 18 for now if you find it useful and if you dont then just have it , in case u may need it later any powerful strategy comes up involving that equipment..

I'd also suggest taking the equipment,you never know they might get synergised with well with a future equipment. Just don't upgrade it. Upgrade those equipments first which you always use in your army
