I have a feeling that they’d planned for Klaus to die in the end at the beginning (Probably Hayley and Elijah too). As sad as it was, I think they ended it well. I hate that they died, but it makes sense to end the show like that. After a thousand years of murder and hatred, Klaus died to save his daughter. In the episode where Hayley tells Jackson her biggest secret for the wedding, she says, “I’m going to tell you a story about a beautiful baby girl and the parents who swore they’d die to protect her.” I think that was hinting that they would die in the end for her. It was tragic and beautiful at the same time.
If you ever watched the comic con video of when this girl asked them how they wished to die on the show and why klaus and elijah both said from satbing each other in the heart with a white oak stake so yeah they planned their deaths i'm not sure what hayley said.

Probably because the main characters are all teens and teens are supposed to act like teens. But that means nothing as tvd started as teen drama but quickly turned more mature
I wish they would have had more scenes, more time, and more bonding. Hope was the reason Klaus became redeemable and had the best character arcs of any character in TVD/TO/Legacies
If u think about it they only spent 1 year and a half together altogether but most of that time klaus was preoccupied with trying to save her life and stuff
They were supposed to be the endgame of the show. Hope was and will always be Klaus’ true love and redemption, he never had and never will love anyone as much as he loved his daughter. They deserved better, alongside Hayley and Elijah, the four of them were done so dirty in the last season, season 5 only brought them pain, grief, and eventually, even death. I’m never getting over this. I hate Julie
Killing off Klaus was the biggest mistake of the show. It broke the collective hearts of everyone who loved the show. First they kill off the only woman who has ever caused Klaus to stay his hand and want to be a better man. The person who got Klaus believing in the goodness in others, Camille. Then they made Marcell all-powerful. Season 4 should've been about taking back their city from Marcel. But THIS. Ripping Klaus away from his daughter just as they were beginning to connect again? UNFORGIVABLE.
I didn't see him as a beast I saw the good in him with each of the women he had loved in his life but he did have a crap childhood and it made him prone to deal with anyone that let him down in ways that wasn't cool but he did good in the end he was one of my favorites and wasn't even close to being the most screwed up Mikaelson.
@Tess Bakker Esther was pretty messed up also. She took their choice from them for her own selfish reasons then ended up hating them for how they was. With parents like those I am surprised all of their kids didn't turn out to be much worse than they was.
@Tess Bakker It really was.I have more hate for Esther because what the hell kind of mom stands by and lets her p.o.s man abuse her kid. Wouldn't matter if I was weaker or smaller than the man he would have to eventually sleep and then he would have had his head bashed in.
@Tess Bakker The way I see it is she did it for her own selfish desires and if she was so upset by the way they turned out then she should have thought of that before she used such a dark magic to protect them if anyone should have been killed it should have been the parents the only Mikaelson sibling that I absolutely hated was Finn I was rooting for him to die on vampire diaries but to be fair at one point in the shows I hated Kol also but grew to love him
@Tess Bakker I am a huge nerd when it comes to my shows I have watched Vampire diaries 4 about to be 5 times and the originals I restarted 4 times but only got completely through it once I lost track of how many times I have restarted Grey's anatomy,pretty little liars,the fosters,dr who,being human and switched at birth I love any medical/firefighter/law enforcement related but I also love supernatural stuff the best shows for me have thrown most of that into one
The first half of this video I was smiling so much, and then I remembered, that Klaus is dead and how little time they got to spend together, and now I'm just crying. This edit is amazing.
Klaus is the true definition of a father every little girl needs in their life ,no matter what he did everything he had to do and sacrificed all for his daughter
Klaus has truly loved only a few people in his life. Them being, Elijah, Kol, Finn, Rebekah, Freya, Henrik, Marcel, Cami, Caroline, Hayley... but the one he loved and cherished the most.. will always be Hope.
Being a father really was his true redemption and after all the terrible things he did I still love him for who he is. He always thought of hope and her safety. This melts my heart😭❤️😫
hate how Hope never talks about Elijah in legacies. Does she even know how he did to protect her and her mom, when Klaus didn’t want anything to do with them? (I love Klaus. I just wish Hope would acknowledge her uncle too)
@@_itzriazpvp9869 if you remember what Rebekah said to klaus when they had a fight( klaus went to kill Rebekah) , she mentioned the trios deepest fears. For klaus its anger and paranoia, for Elijah its providing and caring for others than himself for Rebekah its abandonment issue. I guess the writers projected his fears more.

The last 2 seasons where truthfully the best. We really got to understand what the Originals were about. I honestly did not expect the maturity of the series. It was sad but it was also beautifully connected.

If you rewatch tvd and TO then you will understand that the ending was perfect,he was a ruthless killer who was feared by everyone,who was able to threat even the deadliest witch and nobody in the world was able to end him not even break him but in the end he died happily by sacrificing everything for his daughter. Best thing was when he said to Elijah what if there's nothing after this Then Elijah replied that we will face it together even death wasn't able to separate them

Ngl I watched this at least 4 times, something about the way Hope was loved, just broke my heart, the way even though she wasn’t actually supposed to even be able to exist. And with all that she lost what loved her most her parents and Eliaja but there were so many other people who cared and loved her even if she was damaged and broken. In legices she says she wasn’t supposed to exist before the whole Malivore thing, and then sees she has a purpose they did hope dirty even before she was born

I hated the ending .but after thinking over it this was Kluas Mikaelson's perfect ending . He stoped being a sled serving jackass and give the one thing nobody thought he could give for anyone .... do I miss kluas yes but this was a great send off for a great charaters. Goodbye Kluas your story is done
I agree with you. Even though it was and still is heart breaking, it was definitely the perfect send off. It's horrible for Hope but thinking of it this way that her family found peace. Finally.

Out of all the villains I know who cared for their children , klaus actually did love and care for his daughter she changed the course of his life from total villain in TVD To a hero
