I feel like even though Marcel says he’s not like them. He was still raised by them, so I feel like most of his knowledge is because of them. Basically, Marcel is a little bit like them, even though he fails to admit it.

@@bonganimungwa7573it's more like because he was worse than them, like he really was, and a coward, and a hypocrite, and just envious. They could've done so much with his character as he had a unique perspective of the Mikaelsons and the world, but it's like the didn't know what to do with him. Think about it. He was a freed slave, as a child. The Mikaelsons actually treated him very well. Klaus just didn't want Rebekah with him. Honestly, that was always creepy to me. That's her nephew and she watched him grow. If the sexes were swapped, the show would've been petitioned for grooming. He went to war, traveled the world, lived through the Civil Rights movement. So much. However, Klaus, with Elijah following his lead, unified New Orleans. Originals, vampires, werewolves, witches(eventually) and humans, all living together. They had a system of trade and New Orleans was prospering, until Marcel and Rebekah. He couldn't bring them together like Klaus did. The Vampires were loyal, but he killed and cursed the werewolves, slaughtered witches and stopped them from practicing magic. Truth is, the Mikaelsons were more or less peaceful and diplomatic when he knew them, but unafraid to show force. Yet he only knew force. The comparisons go on. I think it stemmed from him initially supposed to die, but maybe he became so popular they had to change him. The problem is still the heinous stuff he did.
Klaus was stronger still… Marcel just had the means to end klaus but it wasn’t proven because klaus is a hybrid so the bite could of just gave him hallucinations like how klays bite gave the other siblings but nevertheless in a 1n1 fight klaus will win especially if he has the knife to kill Marcel. Klaus just didn’t had it in him to kill Marcel neither Marcel has it in him to kill klaus
Facts. Ironically, he sounds just like Klaus here. Klaus said something similar to Tyler when he let him live. Marcel got on my nerves trying to act like he was so much better when he ended a lot of lives, too. Marcel was hurt that he wasn't treated like family, but he's the one who let them think he was dead for decades.
@nicolelandrum8777 exactly. They mourned him for so long and he let them while taking over the kingdom they build. Maybe he was angry because he thought they left him behind. Then again, it was him and rebekah who called mikael there in the first place. He was so angry Klaus didn't stop elijah from killing him even though he knew damn well klaus never even got the time to react in time. Klaus raised Marcel like a beloved son. But it was never enough for Marcel because he wanted rebekah too. In the end I'm glad they worked it out. But he was lying when he said he was glad he wasn't a Mikaelson. He'd always been a Mikaelson, he just didn't want to admit it because admitting it would mean admitting Klaus really was king.
I really hate that they allowed him have a an upper hand especially that he was raised by my hero Nicklaus Michaelson I really don't understand the reason this dude loved to see this day
Thinks lol you mean knows none of The Originals could do anything with Marcel at this point even with there combined efforts he'd take them out fairly easy

Thinks? He is the boss! Marcel was right, because if the roles were reversed the Mikaelsons would definitely have killed him and went about their merry way! Hell, Elijah did killed him and why they may have been hurt and distraught by killing Marcel they would have gotten over it quickly. Marcel is a better leader and boss than the Mikaelsons because he looks out for everyone while the Mikaelsons look out for themselves
