Turns 26 during the Olympics and yes feels like she's been around forever even though her 1st Global Champs were the '19 Doha WC. Testament to how durable her & Femke are which allows them to compete as much as they do every year!
@@AllInTheGame01 Sydney please leave Bobby and take Britton with you to train in the Netherlands with Femke and Lieke. That would be something a lot more exciting DL races and more WR's. Fans would love that! 🙏😁
@@QuamfyMarc Actually Britton needs to race less this year given that she ended up with stress fractures in both legs last year after running so many 400m, 400mH & 4x4 races throughout the long NCAA Season! She'll end up running around 15 races in '24 in her 1st year as a Pro Athlete as compared to 30+ races in each of her last 3 seasons as an NCAA Athlete!
@@QuamfyMarc Shouldn't think so, will be very surprised if she races before the start of the outdoor season! Still early in the indoor season, we'll soon see more sub 51s from Amber's Arkansas teammates like Rosey Effiong & Nickisha Pryce, as well as Georgia's Aaliyah Butler & South Carolina's JaMeesia Ford. There are interesting 300m races this wkend between Gabby Thomas, Talitha Diggs, Lynna Irby & Favour Ofili with Gabby possibly going for Abby Steiner's 35.54 US Record; and between Steven Gardiner, Matt Hudson-Smith & Matt Boling. Julien Alfred & Dina Asher-Smith are also racing each other in both 60/200m races, so should be a fun wkend!
Henriette Jaeger from Norway... heptathlon athlete until last year... and two years before that ruined because of injuries... 20 years old... will be crazy good
Her 2nd fastest time indoors as her opener beating her own MR by 0.46s, loving the start to this Olympic Year! NED needs to find at least one more sub 50s quarter-miler outdoors in addition to Bol & Klaver to make the W4x4 in Paris & Beyond even more exciting!
With 2 sub51s runners brings also oppertunities. That would be bit more realistic to achieve. With 2 extra sub50s runners Dutch Gold is in the pocket. 😃
@@QuamfyMarc Will keep saying that like they did with Lieke Klaver (11.33/22.46), they should try to convert Tasa Jiya (11.33/22.67) in 2025 from a 100/200m to 200/400m athlete and try to get her to run sub 50s in the 400m!
@@AllInTheGame01Not gonna happen her focus is on 200m. I think Kathleen Peeters have highest chance to improve to sub51s. Maybe Evelien. Dont see 2 talented youngster run that but one could go sub52s. I belueve Dutch 4x4 team is strongest in years 2025 to 2028.
@@QuamfyMarc Unfortunately 22.67 isn't fast enough to make Global 200m Finals! Even Lieke with her 22.46 PB can't make a Global 200m Final cos the standards have risen significantly over the last 3yrs! Just move her up to try and make her a sub 50s athlete who can make Global 400m Finals!
@@QuamfyMarc And what, she has in fact 3 times listed as 49.81, 49.87 and 49.99, all in 23, and yea I watched the video, she has dumped 50 seconds 3 times as listed, and spare me the Wiki reference, I dont look athletes up on Pedia.
Bol did sub 50 again....BUT Lieke ran in the first heat and at that moment she had the season best still in her pocket. Femke took that over some later. In her first race. In this season, already sub50. Just a few tenths slower than her best last year... the WR in 49,26. Lieke en Femke the 2 fastest Dutch ladies on 400m.
campeona olímpica=Olympic champion To be precise Marileidy Paulino is not the Olympic champion. She won the silver medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Paulino took gold at the 2023 World Athletics Championships in Budapest.
Who and more importantly why ... what? The design of her suit. Appalling. Resembles the naked or not suits of the Colombian women cycling team (10 years ago).
She looks like she hits biceps 3 times a week, but no, she specializes in track running. I saw an interview of her and she defo got that deep voice. Not "bodybuilder deep" but yeah, definitely something fishy... It's not just her though. The amount of muscle mass on all those olympic runners is clearly too much for them to all be natural...
