not trying to be weird but watching his legs and footwork coming off the dribble and coming off screens his spacing is crazy! he squares up so cleanly EVERY TIME..his form is immaculate
Why? He's old, had a game/life-changing injury . He's enotional on the court and is washed up. Curry made him better when he was young and not injured. Like Barkley said ' Klay will never be even half the play he was'. So it's a big loss for Dallas. This clown will bring us down. I'd rather bol bol or a 3rd tall dude who's good. This is horse shit.
@@lucienberlnah you don’t understand what a fresh start can do sometimes. I think it was the mental part for klay. Being with the warriors everyone bashing him. Curry doesn’t control his shooting. Klay is known for making contested threes. He moves fine and had solid defense so there’s really no signs of that injury effecting him. It could be a turn around for him.
Soo happy for him, you gotta go we’re ever your happy. The time he spent with the warriors was a blessing to watch him. Last few years he just wasn’t happy.
Remember the 37 point quarter? There are NBA players who can shoot, and then there are players like Klay who really SHOOT. Career .413 from three on high volume. Crazy to realize that Steph exists on yet another clearly defined tier above that at .426 career on ridiculously high volume of 9.2 attempts a game.
I'm so happy you're in Dallas. It's weird seeing Klay in a jersey that's not a Warrior jersey. I've been a Warrior fan since before the Championships. Welcome 2 Big "D" & can't wait 2 see your "lethal 3 Points" that's going 2 shut up all the haters!! Do your thang Klay!!
You don’t ned to compare him to DJJ. We have Naji Marshall to play that role. Who knows what Jason Kidds lineups will look like. He may not have Luka, Kyrie, and Klay together for long stretches. Or Klay may take PJ Washington Minutes. A straight up comparison to DJJ is most likely very inaccurate because Klay is not simply going to take the DJJ lineup role.
@@cvance37Exactly. Kidd could even run a lineup with Grimes at the SF if he wants to go small or play Klay at SG when Luka and/or Kyrie is on the bench. That's the beauty of having so many wings. There are all kinds of lineup options that Kidd can play around with. They just need to get rid of Powell and/or Maxi and sign Precious Achiuwa to make the cypher complete.
Every single Golden State fan kicking rocks when they see this in complete denial. They just keep saying "0-10 in his last game, he's washed, you guys will see" they know damn well he isn't washed 🤣🤣
I have to say there are many of us that didn’t say that. There are many of us that saw him for what he still is and are kicking rocks for losing him with who he really is.
He’s still pretty solid on offense. His biggest regression is his defense. Also he faded in many games, but if they play Klay the correct minutes and against advantageous matchups he can still be very solid. Derrick Jones Jr was great at defense so that’s a big loss but lively and gafford are solid rim protectors. It will be interesting to watch. I will Klay all the best as a dubs fan
I'm happy for klay man w.e makes him happy is wat matters he got 4 rings he gona try that 5th without curry if it happens no one can say he ain't one of the greatest shooters alive
Looks so weird in a different jersey. I'll always love Klay and what he did with the Warriors. That jumpshot is so textbook perfect. Could watch him shoot for hours
Klay was still an important piece why they won the chip after he came back. Still deserving to get paid at least same with Draymond Green. This is a similar move by PG13 (who didnt actually won a chip). Just my opinion. :)
Klay was offered more than draymond and he declined because he wanted the max. He thought he could play amazing another year to bring his value up but betting on himself backfired. Warriors offered him more than mavs and draymond last year. You can’t be egotistic knowing it’s your fault and you chose to bet on yourself but failed.
@@GoldBloodedGSW49 if anything warriors supported him and Kerr gave him a green light to take as many shots he wanted even after being horrible. There’s no way Dallas lets it slide when he jacks up 17 contested shots each game without any play making abilities. If anything klay took it for granted and warriors still tried to keep him. Hope he gets over the mental block with a new start in Dallas else he’ll find out the hard way that he isn’t the player he think he is anymore.
@@sabjot602 I 100% agree, like he’d take some absolute terrible ultimate disrespectful shots considering his teammates perspective who shared the court, crazy part he’d like get a bounce back rebound and immediately jack up another heavily contested clanker. Loved that guy but damn he went out bad.
@@GoldBloodedGSW49 yea I feel he still has the skills. But his iq was at all time low last season. He never played like that. Just jacking up heavenly contested shots. That’s not how he became the player he was in his prime. It’s kinda Kerrs fault too. He gave klay the green light and probably never gave him a reality check. Kerr tried to be on his good side because of the bond they had over years instead of being a coach. I think klay might be really good for Dallas where he’ll have to pick better shots like he did before 2018.
Crazy bcuz us gsw fans been shitting on Klay for his decision to ring chase while mavs fans delulu think they picked up a superstar for the low. Klay shud come to Mark Cuban and say gimme $30m+/year.
Im happy for Klay. I know the new CBA Rules make it harder to retain talent so can't fault the owner not dealing with penalties and can't fault Klay wanting one more year of job security. Same time, I been watching the warriors since 90's. Super stars and generational talents come and go. I will still support my team and watching them build a team post Curry. It's kind of sad seeing this group age out. It feels different then watching Chris Mullen and that whole Run TMC squad aged out. Different from seeing guys like Jason Richardson leaving, Baron Davis leaving, trading Monta Ellis, seeing David Lee go. This squad brought 4 chips so you def feel bad they are aging and won't be playing for long. Enjoy it while it lasted instead of complaining. Yes, Klay isn't the same or as good as before but the fake bandwagons fans were sooo toxic and ungrateful on treating him. Same way they did with KD leaving.
They benched him because he was shooting them out of games. Teammates were getting so frustrated with his self centered play, than he’d pout like it was everyone else’s fault. Klay listened way too much to these fake warrior fans on social media, burned all of dub nation who loved him wanted to make it hurt. Blessing in disguise though we were going no where fast with him on the team
Klay must of had a terrible season with GsW. Lost athleticism from back to back injuries - ACL and Achilles tear. The team is struggling trying to get their chemistry down and Draymond acts a fool and get suspended/ejected from 17 games. Wiggins playing like a bench player, career lows in all major stats, and then goes again on a hiatus from basketball for personal reason, which last season he missed 25 games for. Kerr switching up the lineup, taking the hot hand out of the game for no reason, and then losing leads and games. Bob Myers leaves the Front Office and Klay loses the man who drafted him and probably had a lot of trust and confidence in. Klay has a bad shooting game in an elimination series and gets the majority of the blame despite all the shot that happened. Glad he has a fresh start in dallas.
U mavs fans will soon see Klay's inability and why i been saying all mavs fans are casuals who dnt watch basketball outside their own team. Klay is not the $30m+/year player he thinks he is. Us Gsw fans have watched how he got carried to his 4th ring, how much space he eats when he cant shoot over his defender, his inability to guard or lockdown anybody anymore. There is a reason why Bob Myers left; SAW THE WRITING ON THE WALL. IF THE GOAT GM SAW IT HOW CANT MAVS FANS SEE IT? He's washed! Love him for the 3 rings he helped. But this new klay aint it
@@fangru7294 mavs did not get a significant upgrade. I’m not sure if u noticed but the Celtics cooked the mavs on defense. Defense even looks worse with klay on the team. Y’all ain’t going deep next season I can promise you that.
@@Astelch You are so funny. Yeah Celtics cook them on defense so bad they had averaged106 points in those 4 wins. Dallas defense was good enough the main problem was that Mavs got cooked by Celtics defense when they averaged just 93 points. Kyrie stopped getting his, role players were shooting bad and we did not have guy who can get us those 13pts. THJ played 36 minutes in three games we lost and he had 0pts. Green averaged 6 pts and DJJ averaged 7 pts in 4 games we lost against Celtics.
