I'm based in the UK so not really a potential customer but this video has convinced me that these boots won't do the job for me! All of my rides involve some degree of 60-70mph roads and these don't seem to offer much over a standard boot beyond the shift pad, which is unfortunate. Klim should have another crack at these with a more solid toe box, footbed shank and ankle armour and work proper ventilation through these reinforced elements in addition to what's already in place. The ventilation is really a unique selling point as most "casual" motorcycle boots are 100% leather which isn't the most breathable! I'm sure these are an improvement over people who are riding in flip flops or trainers though. I think the Klim Ridgeline boots are probably a bit more protective than the Blackjacks but I liked the work boot aesthetic!
