I love my pad 7. But it is not that easy for beginners to set up. I have tried the sonic pad and did not like it. So I bought the pad 7. I also bought a raspberry pie 3b and a BTT 5 inch screen and set that one up with klipper on another printer. I will say the BTT pad 7 was easier to set up versus the Pie. I have seen that issue come up with wifi. Technically it would have been easier to edit a file with notepad ++. Another issue is that there are no good instructions. A lot of the RU-vid videos are too old and things have changed. I would suggest kiauh to most users. Another big issue with these klipper pad and even rasberry pi options is the usb cable. You can spend hours or days trying to figure out why you can't connect to the mcu and the issue was the usb cable the whole time. Lol. Most of the usb cables will not work so finding one that does can be challenging. I am glad you were able to do it. I try to help as many as I can on user groups. Take care And cheers
Hi Igor, I guess I need 3 of these to Klipperize a Neptune 3 Pro, Plus and Max 😂 Weird having first to update using Network cable to finally being able to use Wifi 🤷♂️
You can actually use one of these to control 3 printers at once! There are some special configuration steps required but it's broadly the same setup process.
