I didn't think they were as big as Voice of the Theater. They seem to be close in size. Been to a house one time that had 6 Voice of the Theater Speakers for their home theater. It was an experience.
Agreed. I also feel that they sound best with tube amplification. We demo'd a LOT of front ends with the AL5 LaScalas from all solid state to all tubes to a mix of both. In the end, we went with a PrimaLuna E300 integrated. To our ears (totally subjective, of course), it was amazing. We barely turn the volume knob to reach a comfortable listening volume in a rather large room. They probably use less than a couple watts of power given their absurd efficiency.
Just by looking at the limited views of the large speaker enclosure box's base, It seems more black paint was needed. For all that money you'd think Klipsch wouldn't skimp on that.
