Klondike Katie at 80: Dollywood Express 5/10/2023 

On May 10th, 2023, 154 years to the day after the famed driving of the Golden Spike at Promontory, a stroke of luck saw me back at Dollywood to once again railfan their incredible Dollywood Express. As luck would have it, Locomotive #192, "Klondike Katie", was pulling the trains that day, tackling the steep 5% grades up and down Iron Mountain. All in all, it was an incredible day railfanning one of America's best theme park railroads. So sit back, relax, and enjoy the sights and sounds of 192 on the Dollywood Express!
