This is arguably the best game in club football right now, their games are so intense and full of quality, it is probably the only game in the premier league that has no favorite to win, unpredictable.
@@supremecommentor3130 I think its still very early, liverpool were behind city last january by around 8 points and almost won the league, but yes, they need to improve fast, they miss thiago and mane, and their defense is struggling also
@@supremecommentor3130 it's been 7 games lol and we have quite a few injuries, no football for a week so this could be the turning point of the season for liverpool with thiago keita henderson matip and konate coming back and hopefully salah VVD and trent getting back to form
Just because he showed more Liverpool victories? The most intense meetings between the two sides just happened to have been won more often by Liverpool, that's all. You really think City's 5-0 victory over Liverpool in 2017 was intense for example? It was just an easy game for City. What I didn't get is why he didn't include City's 2-1 victory over Liverpool in 2019. That was an intense match since it was basically a title decider.
Pep and Klopp raised the game in England since their respective inceptions. Liv vs Mancity matches are definitely the best presently. I am a Chelsea Die hard though!
@@genossdiengdoh4554 Well maybe you don´t, but a lot of english fans think their league is the only one that matters and disrespect the other leagues, while at the same time the best players and coaches currently come from leagues like the bundesliga. See e.g. Halland, Pep, Klopp, Tuchel and so on
@@wowrb like I was saying, the German bundesliga is a one team league. Presently, the EPL would've also been a one team league but for the presence of klopp and his Liverpool team: giving them a run for their money. This present poor showing by Liverpool was due to the fatigue set in after playing too many matches last season. Reaching all the finals played in and challenging for everything was bound to have an affect on the team and the players.
The 2-1 for City where Sane scored the winner is still one of the best matches of football I've seen. Bernardo Silva was like top10 in the World at that time
I became a Klopp fan in the 2013 Bayern-Dortmund CL final. I expected Bayern to dominate, but was astonished at the way Dortmund swarmed all over them for 30 minutes or so. So I followed Klopp to Liverpool and have since absorbed the Liverpool tradition. Despite problems, we may win the CL again this year and catch up with Milan.
this video 📹 shows us that Klopp is the one and only coach we have ever seen such professional level Liverpool that we have long forgotten almost 12 years never qualify for the champions league but now is one of the clubs that everything the world dreams of going
@@InfamousB9 The only reason Pep is even mentioned next to Klopp is because Pep has unlimited budget and has a much better team. Swap the teams and money and Klopp would demolish Pep every time. No disrespect to Pep he is a genius but his game plan only works with worlds best players. Klopp can make a game plan work with even bad players like Henderson and Lovren etc
Even as a Liverpool fan I’m surprised Man City 2-1 Liverpool wasn’t here. That match was a title decider at the time. Heartbreaking yes, but it was a hell of a match.
Much respect for Guardiola and Klopp, two of the best coaches of our era. Liverpool vs Manchester City always a match to watch with pleasure. Long live titans!
I can name like 2 likable players from each team(Man City/Liverpool) I don’t think it was ever about the players but the managers, the managers rivalry is what made Liverpool and ManCity so exciting this past few years
Where is these matches? Liverpool 1-4 Man city (Feb. 2021) Man City 4-0 Liverpool (Jul. 2020) Man City 2-1 Liverpool (2018-2019 season) Bayern Munich 2-1 Borussia Dortmund (1/11/2014) Borussia Dortmund 0-2 Bayern Munich (DFB-Pokal Final 17 May 2014) and others. I am not a fan of Manchester City or Bayern Munich. But I think this is not fair, you don't show Pep's wins against Klopp. These matches also were important matches, especially DFB-Pokal Final. I have big respect to both of them. But I don't think one of them is better, in my opinion both of them are world class.
Man City 1-4 weren’t the greatest of matches was it. The Man City 4-0 had no tension because Liverpool had won the league they then. And Yh I agree they should show some highlights for the Man City 2-1.
2021-2022 season was the best 4-4 for both side the best one is in the 2nd leg where Salah and Kevin De bruyne making some of the nicest goal ever. also that season City and Liverpool are neck to neck for the league title too.
@idrusalkaff744You don't know why Klopp is Mainz coach, that's because Mainz coach resigned and Klopp was immediately appointed as coach even though he is a player
This rivalry is all on the pitch, two great teams playing great football. The mutual respect between them is rare in today's football. The result is games lof that quality on the pitch with no one team being certain of a win. This is pure football, no bullshit unlike the ManU rivalry which has a longer history and a lot of unsavory aspects and animosity between fans and some really bad player behaviour.
How crazy that Klopp brought Shaqiri to Liverpool when he was originally at Bayern Munich and Pep brought Gündoğan to Man City when he was originally at Dortmund.
Two of the best club in the world right now. Its blistering view from one end to another whenever LIV meets City. Liverpool and city match is actually a T20 version of cricket.
@@kaustavborgohain5161 well he made close to 2billion profit for Borrusia dortmund and competed agaisnt big bas bully no one can dare to compete in that country , it’s not always about winning and the way Guardiola wins doesn’t really look so hard , pay the most money for the best players and I think you also have a good shot at winning …
@@kaustavborgohain5161 he earned stars , built sponsorships at a new level thanks to those stars , changed the whole youth academy that still bringing more stars from all over the world , he has min cost players leaving the club at astronomical transfer fees , yet club stabilized its place in highest competitions with Europe with minimum expenses , you comparing their coaching levels is simply not fair , Klopp didn’t have money or resources through his career as the way Pep did , yet what he accomplished with that budget always been above expectations , Pep simply capable of buying what he wishes and succeeding with them is the expected achievement compared to value of that club and squad he capable of building , Klopp is simply more productive and if you don’t have economical needs yet wanna challenge to bigger clubs he is the man for the job
They both are world class, no doubt about it, but Pep has technically better players. On the other side, Klopp relies on pressing, running without a ball. Two very very different coaches, but i think that they complement each other and learn a lot from each other from each clash. Pep’s style of play has endured and it is still amazing, but Klopp needs to try something different. He is starting to get really predictable. Even though people won’t admit it, Mane WAS the key player. Salah is great, but Mane was that loose killer player that covered for midfielders with his high pressing.
pep having more technicaly gifted players than is not a true statement, klopp has specialised best player in the world contenders in each position...like best defensive mid, best right or left winger, best fullback, best defender and so on,u get the point....for each position he goes for the player he believes is the best in the world and thats his secret.
@@nkululekomajola7751 well, LFC has one of the best players in the world one every position, but the problem is also consistency. Injuries are also runining the chemistry. Look at LFC’s start of the season. Players are not that hungry anymore like they used to be. Maybe this awful form is a good thing, smack them in the face and make them pick themselves up. Sometimes you need the fall..
Guardiola's purchased players fees: €1,911,308,181 / 92 Players Klopp's purchased players fees: €1,068,615,000 / 137 Players Guardiola's players introduced to the world less 20m€: Kimmich,Pique,Koman,Zinchenko Klopp's players introduced to the world less 20m€: Lewa,Gotze,Reus,Gundogan,Perisic,Aubameyang Both are great managers, but Klopp never built a career for himself with a bag full of money. Guardiola was always luckier than Klopp. If I had to choose between the two, Klopp would always be my first choice. For example, if PSG wanted to win the champions league, they could do it with Guardiola, but Guardiola could not win the champions league to Liverpool. Also Klopp would have already won the 3rd champions league with City.
Tell me you're a Liverpool fan without telling me you're a Liverpool fan. Bayern 2-0 Dortmund in the german Cup Final after extra time, Bayern 2-1 Dortmund in the Bundesliga after Dortmund lead 1-0 at half time and then City 2-1 Liverpool at the Etihad in 2019 to spur on an 11-point comeback for City in the Prem... all 3 super intense games that were important but none of them are in the video... coincidentally Pep beat Klopp in all 3 of them. Just call the vid "Klopp's best matches against Pep".
They won the league thanks to the referees who blatantly ignored Rodri’s handball and didn’t give Everton a penalty. Without that City don’t win 2 league titles in a row, forget about 3 in a row
