@@gailcalumpiano7443 Sathit and Jee at their core are good people. The flaw in their personalities is that Sathit is prejudiced and Jee is stubborn. That's why he's having a hard time believing that Jee is a good person despite others telling him otherwise because of his first impression of her (when they meet with her smelling like alcohol because someone spilled it on her) he sees her as reckless, drunkard, arrogant superstar who is also a homewrecker. The irony is that he is a lawyer who is supposed to investigate deeper and not fall for outer appearance. Jee, on the other hand is someone who won't let others off easily, prideful and stubborn. She does a lot of things to piss off Sathit like pretending to date P'Chaiyan just to mock Sathit & Piak. While Piak & Sathit should understand that the entertainment industry loves to create speculations, it is because of their prejudice they alienate people around them. Sathit's prejudice and his anger is driving him to self-destruction many times, it consumes him. The thing about KC is that it shows their natural relationship progression. Sathit sees Jee at her saddest, sickest, & lowest. He sees her mourns her grandma to the point of sickness, he was protected by her in a shootout (twice, i think), and many other instances. He might be prejudiced but he's not blind and he is still a person with sense. He discovered that Jee is not the cold-hearted selfish arrogant person that he thought she was. Even before he found out the truth, he's still willing to save Jee because he is still a decent human being. Jee, despite all of Sathit's taunts willing to save him multiple times at the cost of her own safety. At first it might be out of guilt, but then she saw the good in him, the pure love he had for Teaw (his dead fiancee), and she sees in him something she have always wanted: true love. It is about two people overcoming their initial terrible impression to see the beautiful person underneath. It is for Sathit to understand that there is more that meets the eye, that if you overcome first impressions you might discover the jewel underneath. For Jee, it is about presevering in a situation that is out to destroy you; jealous colleagues, scandalous industry, perverted stepdad, absent parent etc. And to know that there will always someone who will see your worth and love you for who you are. If you look at all that, it is only natural for them to fall in love. And the conflict Sathit has thinking that Jee is his fiancee's murderer creates this tension that is necessary for this story to be gripping. Plus, the satisfaction after he found out the truth is absolutely amazing. (sorry for the whole essay, I'm just really passionate about this drama)
