Do your walls, benchtop, floor end up soaking wet from condensation ? I just ordered one and now having 2nd thoughts.

With the black cylinder around the element, is water still supposed to touch the element or not?

@@ashleyscampingandcooking oh I used mine yesterday after buying it new and the element burnt and it looks cracked and I thought it was the water touching the element. Guess it may be faulty
