In Part 2 of 3 Og Tight Eyes Original Park Village Compton Crips gives some more history of Park Village Wilmington Arms Compton Crips and surrounding area in the 1970s. There's a lot of rich gang history in Los Angeles county, and Tight Eyes remembers a time when the Kitchen Crips and other crips from the east side of South LA encountered the Compton Crips. He also touches on missing the crack era, and the beef with Compton Varrio 70 and Tragniew Park.

I always found it interesting how different Los Angeles street/gang culture is different then other cities because of the spread out makeup of the area. The Crips started in the main city Los Angeles, but neighboring smaller cites (Compton, Inglewood etc..) became powerful enough to have/claim just as much or even more sometimes influence on the street/gang culture. That is something you rarely see in other major city areas across the country.

Some dude from Corner Poccet Crip out of Compton moved to the Mathew Henson projects in Phoenix in the early 80’s and formed the dub and that’s why they have the Corner Poccet and Boothill name associated with Wscity. Lindo Park Crips in South Phoenix was started by a Phoenix dude along with a dude from Kitchen Crips out of South Central L.A. and a dude from Carver Park Crip out of Compton. Not sure about Park South Crips in south Phoenix if they have ties to L.A. or Compton… but they do go by “Neighborhood” might of been Coast affiliated because I remember a lot of Coast dudes banging out here in the late 80’s… it was mostly ECC 1str. Those were the 3 biggest black gangs in Phoenix other than Broadway Gangsters… Broadway was purely a Phoenix born gang, no outside influences. There was some pressure for them to choose blue or red but they remained (black rags) Some blood gang in South Phoenix (I think it was the Vistas) originated from the Swans from South Central LA.

South Vista, Front Street bloods and the rest got turnt on by the Swans , Bounty Hunnaz, Brims but the biggest black gangs are West Side City Crips and Broadway Gangster

Did time in az from jan.95 to June 05. Started at cimarron level 4 95 to 98 went to Lumley Dec 98 till may 2000 that's when they were about to turn perry ville to women prison. Then I got sent to Mohave from may 2000 till September 2001 I got sent to gila stayed there till December 03 and ended up getting sent to Dakota unit in January of 2004. Stayed there till I went home in June 05

Yea Compton Crips had a different dress code .They used to rock those Turbans on their Head too, I was there at 72 Watts Summer Festival at wills Rodger park in the parking lot of will Rodgers park on 103rd side, on the opening day Monday afternoon, We was just Gathering and somebody hollered out There's Puddin- (WTF) and, much too my surprise, he was about ten feet from me E/S Crips and Compton all started taking off on Him-I Give him Credit he tried to go Back but the numbers wasn't in his favor.

I'd say that both (black and brown) had prejudice people on their side. I think some after losing loved ones to gang violence ended up with hate in their heart. And blamed it on skin color. Here in California you got you black n brown groups that don't get along but you also have other black n brown groups that grew up together n got love for one another.
