Is that the place in Orlando right off the freeway? I'm in CA and I've driven by that place like 3 times, always wanted to go, but never was right time/right place. I like kneeboarding more than wakeboarding, that would be fun. At 59, I'm a bit old for tricks like that, but would probably try - and regret it. The socks are a good idea.
i had went to a park like this in north Carolina but never seen any other park like this where is this park how do you search for it im on the west coast now
Getting into wakeboarding this year so it gets me pumped watching your vids lol. By no means am I hating on the vids or some of the slow mo shots I just feel like there’s too many of them sometimes. Maybe not this video specifically. Keep shreddin it brotha 🤘🏼
@@jboneill right, understandable. In some vids specifically I just feel like I watch the same badass clip 3 times in a row. Just my thoughts buddy. Like I said I love your vids & watch regularly so by no means Is it hate.
I use to knee board a ton in the late 90’s, I swear my back and spine problems come from this and wakeboarding- waaay too much impact and compression… but still fun
@@jboneill I still have one. Mines an older thick model. I cant put my knees underneath me comfortably anymore at my old age. Id love to get back on it though. I think if I properly stretched for a week or two I could get comfortable again. Im assuming my tendons and muscles just aren't used to stretching that far.
I gave up 3 event tournaments for kneeboarding tournaments in the mid 80's here in Louisiana. There was a fun group of guys from Florida (Kent McMillan, Mario Fosa), groups from Missouri and TX, and Toni Klarich from Cali. Good times. New tricks at every event so we all took turns setting new high score records.
I injured my knees in a kitesurfing crash a few months ago and it still kinda hurts when I bend my knees all the way (especially when i put pressure on them, like when I sit all the way down on my knees) so this looks so painful to me to land on your knees like that😂😬
I ripped my patellar jump skiing along with busted ear drums and ribs. I was still able to kneeboard and at 65 yo, I still have a good back although that knee still swells up and gets sore from playing golf now. Haven't been behind a boat for 23 years but getting the urge to try it again.
Knee-boarding is to water motorsports as checkers is to chess. Plus it makes you like that paraplegic guy that wants to show the world that he can still shred. (I love the disabled community. Please don't put me on blast)
@@jboneill Will you go to Heaven when you die? Have you lied, stolen, used God’s name in vain, or looked at innapropriate stuff? If so, God sees you as a liar, thief, blasphemer, and forniiicator at heart. If you die in your sins, you will go to a terrible place called Hell but there is good news! Though we broke God's Law, Jebus paid the fine by dying on the stake.. God loved the people of this world so much that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who has faith in him will have eternal life and never really die. Jebus rose from the dead and was seen by hundreds of eyewitnesses. He fulfilled all the prophecies of the promised Savior. Please, today, repent and trust Jebus, and God will forgive you and grant you the gift of eternal life (Ephesians. 2:8-9). Then, to show your gratitude, read the Bible daily and obey it, join a Christian church (make sure not jehovah's witness or lattday saints) , and be baptized.
What a committed kneeboarder, nice to see But... makes me cringe when I see those helmet bridle not tighten at all, not his, but yours. Makes it almost useless, and something I will have to explain again to my son
Ive only started knee bording behind boats. I struggle to keep posture whilst the boat turns around. How can i maintain posture whilst going over the ripples? Or tips?
Good to see these videos on kneeboarding. Might want to watch videos back from the 90’s. Not sure anyone doing the big tricks now that were being done back then. And all behind a boat no cable. But again good to see good riding in the present.
