Just don’t assume that ‘intriguing story’ is the truth. There’s a lot of self-mythologising going on here. And fwiw I do like some of their tracks and videos.
This looks properly good. I quite like Fassbender, but that's not why the movie looks interesting. Look forward to being able to see it at some stage here in Australia.
I think thats normal considering the film will be released in places like Europe, Turkey, and North America, where Kneecap is less known. People will watch it for Fassbender and then learn about the band and Irish history.
This is not at all Michael Fassbender’s film. He is absolutely a support to the kneecapper three. This is film of the year!! Wild and on fire and the best capture of the essence of Belfast (it seems to me). Like Trainspotting but updated and with a more potent political, historical and linguistic point. GO SEE It!!
Maybe a solo-ish movie following up First Class would have been cool, with him leading the team he ended up with and at the end he's alone since they get captured by Trask
Michael Fassbender was born in 2 April 1977. He is 47 years old His wife Alicia Vikander was born in 3 0ctober 1988. She is 35 years old. 11 years OLDER than her Marriage 2017
From the age of 5 until the age of 17 I had to learn the Irish language, the method and the teaching was utter crap, a failure of the education system in Ireland growing up in the 70's and 80's. Makes me angry that they only remote second language I have is French. I reckon if I had have lived in neighbouring across the sea Wales I would have a decent grasp of the Welsh language. Saying that 700 odd years of the English invading Ireland didn't help the Irish language but destroyed it. I might check this film out and understand one word in a hundred "As Gaeilge".
Every year a Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels wannabe type of movie appears. This is one of them and it sure looks like ... a joke. Nothing original
