Great video. I can't disagree with any point you made and the PM2 is probably the better knife. I'll always pick up the 940 first though. PM2 takes up a lot of pocket space and also chews up your pockets pretty quick. My EDC spends most of its life in my pocket so the better carry decides it for me. Fine tip aside the PM2 would be the better working knife imo though.
Unfortunately Benchmade will not send you a free deep carry clip anymore of your knife did not originally come with it. They will only send replacement clips (up to 2 I think) of what originally came on the knife. You will have to purchase the deep carry clip for $10.
I have a Benchmade 940 knife works exclusive with 20cv and the grind angles were way off as well. I think they are different tools for different jobs. I like the PM2 over the 940 most days but the 940 has its place.
Cark Nelson I agree... most days I prefer the PM2, but if I want something thin and lightweight in my pocket, the 940 is my first choice... plus it’s so fun to play with lol
I carry both of these knives. The 940 is more beautiful to look at and play with and is easier to flick or open with the AXIS Lock. The PM2 cuts better and fits my hand perfectly and would be my choice if you could only own one knife for the rest of your life.
Sorry but not the spiderco is not more heavy duty it actually has a less durable blade it’s a better slicer no doubt but the 940 is a working man knife
I’ve had mine for 7 years now and no issues whatsoever. You can buy a pack of springs on eBay for 5 bucks.. I recommend doing so if you have multiple BM knives. I own 6 benchmades and have never had a spring failure but when I do I’ll just pop a new one in.
