Now this is what forging looks like, I see other people on RU-vid just cut the stock of metal to shape no type of hammer work what so ever. Nice work!🤟🏼

Was on site to watch another video, saw title of yours and HAD to watch--kukri is my favorite knife. I couldn't make a knife so I admire those who do, and I thoroughly enjoyed watching you make this one, especially using the "basic" methods & means you employed. I'm just a knife fan but I REALLY like your finished blade!

I love watching your videos. The work you do and the items you make are every bit as beautiful as the smiths who have these high tech workshops and a variety of machines and equipment in their shops. You, on the other hand, have only your knowledge and skill to create the awesome tools and weapons that you create. Simply amazing, lad. Keep up the great work….

I love that knife. I also use very few power tools, but that was just incredible from beginning to end! Also, my kukris are my favorite knives. I also like that you made a mistake and showed it as well as you trying to correct the mistake. I also mess up - usually warping blades when hardening. I always get jealous of guys who only harden things once!

The Kyle Real challenge demand: chromoly / stainless / nickel in a damascus style no gut hook, skinning knife. I've never seen an artist able to do this. True never been done. I've been told it can't happen. Bonus for Mithridiees or Kurdish style blade.

I like the fewer power tools. Keep up the good work and thanks for creating. I do have a have a question. How come you didn't temper the blade or did I just miss that part? Clearly it's sharp, but I'm just curious does it have to do with the metal used, the size of the blade, the way you quenched, what you'll be using it for, or you simply didn't care to temper it?
@MakeNCreate

Make N' Create Thanks! It looked really useful for the forge I’m making at home. Also I have another question if you don’t mind, is this like a job you have? Or just a hobby. I’m trying to learn and practice with blacksmithing, I wanna get into leather and woodwork. I feel like it would be the right job for me. I don’t know if it would be dumb of me to go for something like that. I’m mostly worried I won’t get any recognition and just fall apart and not have a backup plan. I would just like advice from someone who does this themselves.

@biplavshrestha5448
@biplavshrestha5448 6 лет назад
The kukri or khukuri is a Nepalese knife with an inwardly curved blade, similar to a machete, used as both a tool and as a weapon in Nepal.The "M" cut makes blood and sap drop off the blade rather than running onto the handle and also it delineates the end of the blade whilst sharpening. It has religious significance as well in Nepalese culture.

Isn't perfect khukhuri which I had been playing since childhood, but is like a kukri which is modified one while original was khukhuri.
