Simply beautiful. I like the way you isolated tang, bolster, and blade. Can't imagine the effort and pain you put yourself through to grind and hand sand the thumb scallops on the bolster. Hurray.
I didn't see it during the early form work. That big lump in the middle just couldn't work. The finished work is just beautiful. I would be so proud of the finished piece. Well Done !!!
Came out get! Keep in mind that Cocobolo wood ( shaving, dust etc) is known to cause allergic reactions for some individuals. It would be a good to invest in a respirator and even wear gloves when you working with it. Always a good idea to wear protective gear, especially to protect your eyes and lungs.
I really don’t mean to hate because you are doing great work. But why not forge at least the rough profile? I find that I get much more experience out of my knife builds when I forge the profile in.
What a great job ,What a beautiful knife & sheath, Amazing skills , What does that knife and sheath go for If you dont mind me asking ....Just subscribed to your channel.... God bless
It’s beautiful. I love your videos. As a suggestion only. Perhaps letting us know things like what Damascus pattern your going for would be good either during the video or in the description.
Very well done. I've learned something new and saw how I could make it. Btw the dyes from your forging press and the press looks very wobbly you should fix this. Anyway great work at all keep up the good work and have a good one. Greetings from Germany.
