great video. BUT! as a mechanic, I suggest against having a heavy keychain due to seeing a lot of ignition problems from people dangling heavy keychains from their ignitions.
Jeff, Can you make a video on your all time favorite knife? Perhaps the knife you would choose If for some reason you had to get rid of all your collection?
The honeybee is a pretty cool "little" knife. My friend from Canada sent me one and it was the first time I had held or seen one in person and I was pretty impressed with it.
I have this knife also. I love it. It rides on my keys but doesn't get much use cos I always have my ffg brown endura on me. Nice as a razor sharp backup though. I have smaller hands than jeff and it fits great. Thanks for the vid mate.
11 years late, but I seen people rip the honeybee blade out and put it on their victornox knives. I don’t know if 13crmov is better then what’s on a standard victornox classic or basically most models, but it does look nice though
@llamalord111 i find the grasshopper is most useful. the honeybee feels way better than the bug in hand. its like 3 fingers. i really like the grasshopper for actual use. its a good size. just drop in pocket and go.
Jeff, do you happen to have the Spyderco Delica 4 Flat Ground FRN? If so, could you do a written review or just a comment would be good on your thoughts? I've got my eye on one.
Nice review man! There's one thing I'm wondering about this knife: how is it assembled? Is there a risk that some parts will come off overtime? It's always been one of my biggest fears since I was young.
Is the owner of Spiderco obsessed with bugs. There knifes r named after bugs and Spiderco has spider in it so do u have any idea where they get there bug theme.
hi cutlerylover im thinking of buying this for a legal neck chain knife (UK) do you think this knife and a dogtag style chain would be comfortable? how rounded are the edges? High fives from sunny england! love live the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. Tobias
@zanuha hey there. I got my honeybee a few days ago and have been wearing it with a thin leather thong with a super small O ring. Its really not noticable All the best
tried to buy one at yourcornerstore, has been sold out for a while. someone needs to sit u down and have a key intervention with u thats out of control lol
$22 for that tiny thing, yes I would say expensive/overpriced IMHO. Especially since it's non-listed stainless and Chinese made. Novelty knives really. The bug and grasshopper pack that has the honeybee too is $50 on Amazon right now. If you want a tiny knife I'd say you're better off with a Victorinox classic SD, one of those key-like knives, Kershaw Cinder, etc. Better Spyderco and Byrd options too that are a bit bigger but still keychain worthy.
@evilbadger714 and why not ? i don't know about any envelopes or boxes that are thicker than 3 inches ?! LMAO , or are u talking about penetration in human skin ... that's not what this knife is made for ... it has no hard locking system so if u would dare to take this on a human but al i can say is , or the blade/knife will fail on you , or you'll get cut in your fingers ...
