Day 26 - Knight of Wands
Definition:
To me this card is about charging into a project or situation. It’s about going full steam ahead. It’s about thriving on challenges. It’s about being competitive. It holds potential and uncontrolled creative energy.
Detail:
The detail that caught my attention today are the salamanders on the knight’s tunic. They are symbols of fire. Here they almost close to form a ring. He’s trying hard to master a skill or a race to the finish line, expending, a lot of energy and his pursuit but he’s not quite there yet.
Discovery:
When creating a character for my novels, this card makes me think of someone headstrong. A fiery character, who is easy to anger or who tends to have emotional outbursts
Similar to the page of wands this could be another traveler or adventurer, but this one craves speed and adrenaline. This could also be an athlete or a daredevil or someone who is into extreme sports.
while writing this card is a reminder to pick up the pace, or include some action. Maybe it’s time for a car chase. Could also inspire me to write about a couple falling head over heels for each other and jumping into marriage. Only afterwards they stop to figure things out.
this could also be about a character acting first and asking questions later someone who relies on their gut reaction or maybe someone who is overreacting. It also makes me think of someone who is jealous or this could be about someone rushing to someone else’s rescue.
