Here's a quick update on the Season 3/4 Insert Dash! The compass board has been replicated (and before you ask, YES it has the indented squares around the triangles and the correct grain overlay!)

So cool. That crt monitor is probably the reason they created the curve around dash. To have space for the tube at the back.

I know you have other dash videos, but I’ll leave this thought here. Aside from the Knight 2000 (the car) and the scanner, and KITT’s voice/personality, this stage dash is probably the most important piece of Knight Rider history in my opinion - perhaps along with the season 1-2 stage dashes. I mean, the dashboards are sooooooo vital and are in every episode! I have old drawings I made as a kid trying to piece it all together (I quickly ran out of room for the pod function buttons, lol)...thanks for your restoration and preservation work!

Not bad. I wish it was easier to get a real compass circuit that could drive the bars proportionately. It would be nice to have it give the honest reading.

I fully get why you would insert the..uh... insert dash into the screen used car. Putting all the original pieces together, and it was like this at the theme park. But still... How cool would it be to display the insert dash as it was in the studio, but then in your own living room? Haha. You could re-enact Knightrider scenes all day, providing the voice for KITT yourself ;)

you know its funny, i was just watching the start of the episode that came after Kitt vs Goliath, when the cars beached and he's got it going again, and i was like, why doesnt Kitt have a compass or a back up one in a glove box if they have no idea where their going, as my dad for years when he was working out of texas always had one with him given how big that place was only to find out in seeing this, oh.... he did have one lol

Can i ask i Knight Rider episode question. I remember an episode where Michael goes and meets his old cop boss but his former boss doesn't realise its Michael long since ofc he is dead. Does anyone know what episode that is?
