This is the opening credits to the Season 3 premiere episode: Knight of the Drones, which was specifically created for this episode to not spoil the fact that KITT would get destroyed and given a new dashboard in this episode. It was only seen during the original NBC airing, which is why the quality is not as good as the DVD. In syndication and DVD/Bluray releases, this episode would only have the standard season 3 intro as seen in the corner.
