This episode's okay. The only part that felt unnecessary was before this scene where Michael informs Devon and Bonnie about the semi being hijacked. It's the part where Bonnie mentions about KITT not able to function long without his support systems from the semi. She gives this piece of dialogue as though KITT will soon start losing his power and would add more drama to the episode. Especially when they're being chased by the Ferret vehicle during the climax. But KITT never shows any sign of power depletion at all, thereby making Bonnie's dialogue seem pointless.

They were present at a demonstration for a new high tech vehicle, which also falls into wrong hands later in the episode. Just before this scene, Michael informs Devon and Bonnie about the semi being stolen and RC being in hospital after they threw him out the cabin.
