Glad you recommended the seven sisters, I read them all and started again with the first one again, it is in my opinion the best series I have ever read.

I have just learnt the trick with doing one knit row before starting rib, was doing a stripped baby flax and didn't like the old colour in the rib! It's simple but looks good.

I shall knit a pair of socks for my husband, 2 daughters, and grandson as part of their Christmas present, but the rest of the year, I knit only for myself! The flax looks great. I just finished one in lett lopi for a friend. Currently working on a chunky dahlia. Reading "The Lying Game" by Ruth Ware. Take care.

Lovely to see you and your lovely projects Tina🤗I had the same thing with different yarns and ribbing on a garment , hope I remember to add a plain round next time, because I do like a contrast colour and it makes the yarns stretch further. Have a lovely October! xx
