We don't move our kitty if he's settled in somewhere either. 🥰 Love the rains sounds so much 🌧 You chose such a beautiful cardigan pattern - perfect for a wedding garment 💒 This vlog was so lovely. Planning a wedding can be so crazy, stressful and overwhelming at times. Such a great idea to piece together so many sweet, quiet moments during this time. It will be wonderful for you and Doyle to look back on. 💖 Ohhhhh!!! I love your Super Mario 3 racoon tail Mario cross stitch!!!!

I’m getting so excited for YOUR wedding! 😆 I hope we’ll get to see a bit, but understand wanting to keep it private or if your hubby-to-be isn’t comfortable with it. 😊

I just love your videos. What a beautiful place to walk. I saw that Ysolde Teague who has the Musselburgh pattern is needing pattern testers for her size inclusive patterns. You might check out her podcast. I love her designs.

So lovely to see the progress and finished cardigan 😊 Such a clever and pretty pattern. Beautifully knitted and it fits you perfectly. You really got those sleeves spot on! I’m very tempted to knit myself this pattern. Do you think it would still work with out the scalloped edging? I’m really looking forward to seeing this with your wedding dress in the autumn. It’ll be stunning!
@knittedbywhitney
@knittedbywhitney Год назад
I think it would! It definitely looks finished in my reveal footage at the end of the video, I just know the crochet edging is going to elevate it even more and make it really delicate 😍

Lovely work👏. Also love all your knitted sweaters/cardigans you are wearing in the different segments. I especially love your Edith cardigan - I would love to knit it also using Drops Air which I have used before and like. However, I see that the pattern is knit from the bottom up. How did you find that? Best wishes, Alex
@knittedbywhitney
@knittedbywhitney Год назад
I was nervous about the bottom-up construction too, but it ended up working out really well! I’m very happy with the fit and the only modification I did was to make the length shorter than the pattern said to. If you want to know more, check out my podcast episode all about it: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-VcGZlI4my4c.html

What is the yellow cord that you used to hold the live stitches when you were trying it on? Is it a special knitting one or something you’ve repurposed?
@knittedbywhitney
@knittedbywhitney Год назад
It’s a try-on cord, also known as barber cord. It’s basically a very small silicone tubing that you put on the end of your needles to allow you to spread out your stitches. You can find them at local yarn shops and online 😊
