That's strange, I only use super wash wool and mine don't seem to grow . Personal question but do you have a larger bust . You may be better off going by your upper bust measurements. Right under your armpits. I'm not busty but I'm pear shaped so I have small shoulders and ribcage . Because of this I don't go too big for my bust because it will be too big everywhere else . I hope that makes sense. Also it's worth trying on when you have split for Sleeves to check how wide it is . I hope some of this is helpful. Also do you try it on before blocking? Is the blocking the issue ?

@@Simplyinstitches I am indeed busty. It's funny because I'm short, but fairly broad shouldered and buxom. In store-bought tops I usually have to get a large, but I end up swimming in most of the sweaters I make. I usually try on while the sweater is in construction, pre-blocking and post. I'm not sure what it is I'm doing, but maybe measuring the bust underneath the "girls" would be a good place to start.

Another very curvy girl here who's under boob measurement is 10" less than the full one! I have found that the best fit is to pick the size of my full measurement with no positive ease, this gives me positive ease else where but not enough to drown me.
