While watching your podcast I’m sitting on my front porch knitting in northeast Alabama. The weather is beautiful and the temperature is perfect for being outside. I understand you wanting to knit outside. It is so relaxing and I can see the stitches so much better hence I’m working with dark yarn. I so look forward to your podcast each week. Thank you for your wonderful smile and positive attitude. 😊

I don’t know what happened but I forgot to watch this afternoon and just caught up tonight😮! I always look forward to your Sunday podcast to watch in the afternoon but today I missed it. Listening to Rachel’s story I wonder why they say knitting is so relaxing. That situation would have been very stressful for me. She’s a wonderful friend to go through all of that. Thank you for another great podcast and enjoy those cookies!

Porch knitting is the best! I totally agree. (I actually record my knitting episodes on my porch because I love it so much.) Also, I LOVE your four color design. I've never knit so many colors at once but WOW :)

We are heading into winter here and this week it's been cold and wet so I just want to curl up inside and knit all day. I finished a long cardigan last night and while it needs a block I'm wearing it today. It's warm and cozy.

Lovebirds is on my list to knit this year. I saw a gorgeous sample at Elgin Knit Works last summer during the Chicago Yarn Crawl. The colors were not just speaking to me - they were screaming my name. Maybe this will be my next cast-on… Kate Oates has also been doing a “Knit Bingo” event in spring where you buy a “bingo card” to collect patterns and win prizes. It is an interesting idea.

This past Christmas my daughter gave me the exact same Attic 24 crochet blanket. I’m about half way through currently. My crochet blanket mojo has slowed with the ever increasing Oklahoma summer temperatures.

I have a balcony and love balcony knitting! Good luck with the WIPs! I am focusing on getting my WIPs done this year. I started with 23, but I am down to 16 with only one new cast on in 2024. I’m doing pretty well and hope to get to single digits by the end of the year.

thanks for my order, i am in the midst of knitting a temp blanket with colors i choose before i started. i have colors in 5 degree intervals. and i record the temp at 9 am each day. im almost finished with my summer vibe tee and i redisigned it to be done in the round. thanks for the inspo.

HAHAHA I'm so glad you mentioned my flutterbutt comment! I felt a little schoolmarmish about it, so it was nice to know that you felt light-hearted about it. In other news, I'm really interested in the yarn that you're using for the Summer Vibe top for some summer socks or a layering camisole for the months between seasons.

Hi from North Carolina ( Charlotte area). I don’t crochet much because like you, I can’t tell which is the last stitch in a row that I should put my hook into. So I get uneven edges also.

Yep. Stitch reading comes with experience and I never seem to get any. 😂
