I’m looking forward to your review of the TOPS version. I ’ve had one now for several years at first I hated it mostly because I also have the Tom Brown Tracker T-1 and is my # 1 favourite knife it truly is that crazy design that is sometimes hard to wrap your head around but I figured that if I can love the Tracker as useful as the phrase Jack of all trades master of none, but often times better than the master of one I would love using the khukuri just as much. Sadly this didn’t happen fresh out of the box or even a year later , I had thought I made a pricy mistake. The Tracker designed pretty much ruined all other knife designs for me mostly because basically they’re all the same. My TOPS BCK.-07 is now made me a believer the style has now really grown on me and even if I’m heading out to the back country or just in the woods up here in 🇨🇦 and have my T-1 on me I put the BCK7 on my pack just can’t bring myself to leaving it behind. I thought about getting an authentic Khukuri but didn’t see anything that I really liked until now I like how yours was build , not a showcase piece no satin finish just all business. I have to say I think the one and only reason the TOPS Bushcrafter Kukuri is now on the top of the list is I wrapped the handle in Jutte Twine and used a 2 part Apoxy and customized the handle for my hand it truly changed everything. The more it gets scuffed and scratched up the better it looks.
