KNIVES's piano - Trigun Stampede OST // Piano Cover

It's been ages since I found something that suited my playstyle this well!
I started watching Trigun Stampede a few days ago, and the moment I heard the villain pianist's theme I knew it was written for me specifically. I saw it called "Interstellar OST but anime" and honestly, it's not far off! It's in A minor, and the harmony and overall vibe is similar in places, and both make for great piano arrangements.
I transcribed this one in one sitting yesterday, and I learned to play it and recorded it in the span of 24 hours LOL, you could say I got possessed for a day. I swear, it's so much fun though. It plays to all my strengths! I love love love those left-hand octaves playing the melody while the right hand has all those 16th notes, the hand crossings, the triplet melody against the 16th note ostinato, man I just love the whole thing.
And as I listened to it, I realized it reminded me a bit of another OST in style, and I was right - Tatsuya Kato who composed the music also worked on the OST for Revue Starlight along with some others, which I covered so much of back in the day (almost 5 years ago?!)
Side note: Through this entire recording my doggo was asleep, splayed out on the carpet, right next to my foot. Sadly, it turned out to be just out of frame this time 😔

I fell in love with Trigun stampede ost. Its so mesmerizing and beautiful. Your cover its amazing! Idk if u finished the anime already but if u did. "Drain arm" its one of my fav ost in the show and if u play it, im sure its gonna sound AMAZING! Its sooo good. Again, your cover is 🤌🎶🤍

Ohhh I just love this OST so much, it grasps so well the tumultuous state of Nai's psyche, ranging from soft and sad to agressive and monumental. And the way you move! And the way you turn the iPad pages so quickly is cute hehe it looks like you really enjoy playing it :3

First things first: you played this beautifully. Second thing: does anyone else feel like this piece was very interstellar-y? They both have a similar feel but while one is more of a statement, the other is an almost conversation turned inner monologue. Idk what I'm trying to say either lol

Immigrant space explorer, the opening track to the ost of tristamp is the most interstellar in my opinion (it fits and I dig it,wouldn't be surprised if it was inspiration)

How do you manage to play the triplet sevenths at the top of page 3 with your left hand? I can’t imagine the amount of coordination it takes to keep it consistent and fast with your fingers that far apart.
