Fun REC Report!! I would love to see a Benchmade 940 Osborne produced by ProTech....The possibilities!! I am a fan of an exclusive patch to be included and the hardware/extra clip/screws! The Work Sharp/Benchmade Bugout is pretty sweet and works well with the deep carry clip.

I would love to see a Rat1 made by Spyderco. Spyderco is really good at pumping out variations and sprint runs, it would give us a whole bunch of new Rat1 flavors. Not to mention the bump up in fit and finish.

I would like to see knives that have colored pivot collars/back spacers come with multiple color options. Like a Mini Crooked river kit that comes with 5 different colors/materials to swap around. I would like to see Rockstead bring in some more affordable knives if possible. And would like to see Ontario make more premium knives. Upgraded and improved Rat 2 and Apache.

Usually wearing 5.11 pants or shorts so carrying around 5 to 7 knives per day. Would love to see a folding Bowie by Microtech or even Medford.

I’m a weird lefty as well and use a knife right handed. Phone in my left front pocket, knife and flashlight are in my right front pocket. Wallet in my right rear pocket.

Budget made premium would be a Victorinox Cadet buy with different steel and like milled ti scales or something. Premium to Budget I want to see is Olamic Cutlery, like have like Lion Steel or WE or Reate Also, for gear orientation front left pocket phone, front right is knife and wallet, back left is notepad and pen, back right is a SAK or small fix blade.

Ahh man I got a crazy set up also I mainly wear Ariat jeans which have a dedicated knife pocket in the right front. Knife always in right front, then wallet next to dual tool slip which holds a prybar usually a LynchNW AAP 1.5, and a pen, watch pocket will always have my Ti puzzle piece and usually a lighter, left front flashlight, blistex, a pack of cigarettes, and whatever loose change I got back left my personal phone, and a Hank, back right work phone if I'm working or my week for On-Call, and a 3x5 Rite on the Rain pocket notebook. Took me a while to prefect this system might seem like alot but works for me. And as far as GAWs from knife cos/ dealers my current favorite and had been since you guys started throwing them in is the little REC cleaning cloths I love the microfiber on one side then the silky on the other, I got a couple all dirty and oiled up, then 2 or 3 that do the final wipe down before picture, or if I'm getting done a sharpen, clean, adjust, maintenance and want to look at one of my babies all shiny and pretty. 💥👊💥

I’d like to see a budget line of the deadbolt by grant and Gavin hawk, and I’d like a premium line from CRKT. Love CRKT’s designs but would like more premium manual knives from them. And in the same vein, I’d like to see the Kershaw leek produced by a premium company as a manual (even ZT would be great)

You hold your phone in your left hand if you're right handed, no? I never hold the phone in my right hand. Left pocket is for phone, right for knife and keys. Left back pocket for wallet. No carry today since I never left the house, but I did just cut cheese and an apple with my K390 Delica.

I think it'd be cool if the Kapara was made by Hogue in either a frame lock or liner lock. I think Victorinox would be cool with a premium line. I am right handed. I carry my phone in my right front pocket and knife in my left front pocket. I use my phone more so my knife automatically ended up in the left pocket. I hate anything in the same pocket as my phone.

Maybe not a different manufacturer but I’d like to see titanium frame locks on the 940 and Bugout. Also, wallet and knife right pocket, phone and light left. No back pocket carry (bad back) and I’m right handed.

If memory serves me, CRKT tried to collaborate a budget sebenza with CRK, made prototypes that got distributed and Chris told them to go pound sand. I don't think it ever got run by Chris and he wasn't happy that his name was associated with it

Koenig Arius made by Spyderco or Zero Tolerance; only because I want an Arius on washers with an S90V blade. I know Spyderco would have to produce it in Taichung and Bill would never let Arius production go out of the USA, but their washer knives have the smoothest action of any production company.

Just added this to my knife review rotation. Not a big fan of staring at the side of their heads for the whole video. Might have to try again after they finish their studio.

E/R/E ... thanks for the report (as always). I would like to see more models/upgrades (and marketing) of Spartan's Bronze Line of folders. I would also like to see additional Hinderer editions of prominent fixed blades (like the KABAR and EK Dagger). More XM-24 Bowies please.
