Adjusting the micro settings is difficult after installation. My installer basically told me not to sweat it. Changing between softer and stiffer settings is pretty easy. When I do a lot of highway driving especially when there’s a lot of crosswind setting 3 seems to help a lot. When I talk to other van owners who just have factory shocks they seem to struggle in the wind a lot more than I do. One question I have is do I ever need to get the shocks inspected?
Options are always there! I also just personally flop from stiff to soft. I don't use 2 lol Just like anything else. It's a good habit to check everything visually every few thousand miles.
What are your thoughts about the leaf pack on a mild build out? I have the Ad Wag kit and some Owl gear on mine, build weight is 7400 pounds. I did the 4.3 kit but not sure the leaf pack was necessary, may even have made it a bit to stiff the rear.
It's a personal decision on that one. 7400 seems super light honestly so I'd check the weight, but not knowing what leaf spring you got I can't speak to it. Knowing your rear axle weight would help you determine which spring would work
