I remember the first time I watched this show and the first episode I saw. It was the one where the boys played space in the street. i was in tears laughing, it was awesome.
that shit abyss scene is one of my favorites ever. i fucking lose it every time. when randy says "mr lahey not another night of the shit abyss" and laheys wasted already responding before bo bandy is finished "ahh fuck it" i couldnt breathe
I love Lahey just standing there at 0:46 as Ricky lays into him big time. Just a blank stare as Ricky curses up a storm...and then the breeze blows his hair. Amazing!

Love this show, watched it like 5 times,beginning to end ,one after the other, ready to start again. So sad that John dunsworth died, mr lahey is one of the greatest characters ever brought to the screen,also NO ONE can act drunk like him
I still dont believe that he wasnt actually wasted when he was acting Jim Lahey. his so convincing, hahah. RIP to the funniest dude in all of the series' ive ever watched. no one even comes close to him. :D
Comedy won't be the same without John. It's been a while since he passed but I still go back and watch the best episodes. The mans a legend. TPB won't survive without him.
I love the knock knock code. Like, even when they're in the middle of an argument, nearly about to throttle one another, they still have the courmon cotesy to answer the knock knock! hahahahaha
A "5th" is a quart of liquor or 750ml. A pint bottle is 325ml.... A "handle" is a half gallon or 1.75 liters. In my time I've been able to polish off a "5th" with little trouble, at least until the next day when the drunk finally wears off. Alcohol has been the worst thing in my life and to my detriment only followed by women, 😉.
I've tried in real life too drink like Lahey pretends with enormous bottles or "handles" that never ended well, physically and I drink an enormous amount everyday. I'm 40 and my liver and body only does okay because I take methadone too which pretty well kills any sex drive or hangover issues a man could ever have. Your blood cleaning system i.e. gall bladder, liver, kidneys all pay the price and other systems. If it weren't for the methadone then my guts would be even worse off. It's a terrible way to live life. When I see the comedy of Trailer Park Boys it's pretty funny and still pretty sad to see yourself in those shoes because of daily shit choices and decisions and addictions. Anyway. Kids, stay off the liquor or the winds of shit will blow all over you in a disgraceful diarrhea blizzard of nasty shit hawks. No joke.

I had the honor to see Lahey and Randy at EXIT/IN in Nashville TN they both got drunk on stage then Lahey smoked a joint someone handed him from the crowd, it smelled DANK I saw the TPBs at the Ryman too and I gotta say Randy and Lahey had the edge
Honestly he is the only actor that really made me sad when I read he had passed. To play his role is so fucking great acting it's ridiculous. Rip my man.

Lahey drinking that whole mickey reminded me of a friend long long ago when he drank a whole 26oz of rye, Canadian Club, just like Lahey, he said the first four gulps was hard, but the rest went down like water, not even 20 mins later we had to call a ambulance and he went to the hospital.....
I live in a massive house on a huge lot and on the drive to my childrens daycare we pass a trailer park, this show acutally makes me jealous some mornings

When the show was new it was actually fun to go to work on Monday! Guy at work hit me with the knock knock. Then got told to go fuck myself! The 3rd person there failed to see what was so funny!
9:48 words cant express just how much i love this scene and especially Lahey walking barckwards to the car while chugging the whiskey. Its threatening and hilarious at the same time.
