I met someone today at service and sat by their family during service. He felt like the Lord abandoned him and didn’t hear him anymore. To anyone who feels that way, I can stand today saying that the Lord hears you, the Lord loves you, and he cares more about your soul than you could ever imagine. Sometimes He allows trials into our lives to bring us closer to him. He cares more about your soul and your relationship with him than you could ever imagine. Don’t allow the words of negativity, the doubt, the bitterness or the hurt control your life, instead remember the power of 24. Take in one breath and breathe out a word of praise to the God who gave you that breath. If you aren’t dead, God is not done.

To the woman who sat behind me today in church and told me, “ God is telling me to tell you, he hears you,” thank you. ❤ from the bottom of my heart thank you. It was right before the sermon and pastor spoke of a Elijah prophesying the woman to have a son. My husband and I have been trying for a baby for a few years. And last year I basically lost hope. The woman today and this sermon gave me a new found hope and love of god. I was asking for a sign and he delivered. This was one of the best sermons to me, it felt like god was speaking to me. ❤ thank you

I have been fighting my addictions for many years, decades in fact. I was incarcerated one year ago for the praying for the strength to defeat those chains holding me prisoner. Here I am a year later looking for the door to helping youngsters to see that there is hope for those that are born into a hopeless environment. Thank you Lord for knocking and you Pastor for relaying His Word to help me see that I am qualified to do God's work even when society doesn't see my worth because of the poor choices of my past. For more than a year I have been saying no to the possibility of spending time with a wonderful man because I know it might turn into marriage.. I have prayed for a husband and then when the possibility exists I realise that I have let my hurt and disappointment over past relationships kill my hope for the future. Lately I feel like God has been giving me glimpses, hints and previews of what is possible. He is teaching about having hope and expectations. I feel that God is opening my eyes and heart, getting me ready to be in a relationship, showing me how not to repeat my past mistakes, maturing me in my relationship with Him first then others, growing my abilities and helping me to learn skills to change my life. In many areas of my life I feel like He is telling me that opening up to hope means being open to receiving blessings along with having wisdom about coping with disappointment.i need to keep on knocking, try again. We need to work together as the team we were meant to be. I hope you are able to overcome any obstacles in front of you in your journey towards marriage. about 10 years ago I was on pills and drinking and I was in a adulterous relationship I was lost and just in a bad spot in life and i tried to overdose on pills but thank god he saved me I end up going to my brothers house he is a pastor and I just felt the peace of god in his home that night I went to him at the time I had anxiety And had medication for it when I was staying to him I never had anxiety anymore I had gods peace God took all the ugly and junk out my life at that time I been clean since got married and have kids now I still have battles but I thank god he is with me in the tough and there were times I didn’t see a way but he always made a way I battle with doubt even though god gave me many victories but I know it’s the enemy is attacking but some times I do fail and believe his lies and today I’m truly trying to open my heart to him I guess I’ve been holding something back all this time but I release it to you father fully I thank you Jesus

Yo…. This sermon is bananas. I’ll tell you what… I feel like I should listen to it again tomorrow…take notes. Be quiet and HEAR Him…. I listen/watch sermons while I’m getting ready for work, I like the quiet time in the shower - no (minimal) interruptions for the single mom…I hate taking the time to put on make up, dry my hair, etc etc… so I fill that too-quiet time with sermons…many from Elevation, and a few other churches. Pastor Steven Furtick…. You’re touching on at least a dozen prayers I am working on with God right now… IN JUST ONE SERMON!! This spoke to me!!!! This one was for me! Sticky notes, a heart for God, hope and disappointment…..then THAT….? I already commented on this one at the start, I’m commenting again because it’s just TOO GOOD… God is too good… Oof… What?! Like really…..? I know most of my Bible. I grew up with it… I read it, but not enough… I don’t know this story though….I feel like maybe I’d been blinded to it until this moment. Do you have those…? The stories you don’t pay attention to until it SLAPS YOU IN THE FACE…? And you said “this time next year” and I said, “nah”…. Because what…? You’re not saying this to me… HE’S not saying this to ME…?! Because I don’t want to be done having babies…God told me, He promised me… But my hope and disappointment are on a delicate scale…. So I said “nah…” And you kept reading…. I didn’t know.. I’m excited to explore this story. I’m excited to hear His word. And I am grateful for the exposure to His promise and confirmation that He’s got more comin….. Bless you and Holly.. bless your family and your son while he’s away in college. I received the biggest blessing of my life 3 1/2 years ago during COVID. I was terrified and had extreme PPD and PPA. Through this I prayed, praised, pleaded and begged to hear him. Nothing! I felt forgotten. I am still dealing with that and the anxiety of the times. As well as doubt of a promise I was certain would happen in the delivery room. I swore I heard it from him but it didn’t happen. The father of my Elijah has not yet been saved. I now don’t know how to fully believe in this. I know I want to.

In my restored marriage is the place I want to be .my husband back to me out of the strange woman's life in Jesus name. I built a door to be in my marriage and my matrimonial home and therefore nothing will stand against that or replace me in my home in Jesus name .

What spoke? Everything I’ve been waiting for over a week to hear your sermon. I decided not to make a decision completely until I hear from God I was standing at the doorway full of disappointment ON MY SELF a week prior a total of four no’s but with a heart of hope and a desired I believe in the plans he has for me. I’m glad I didn’t take a decision I felt in my heart I need a Word from him before fully walking away but, walking back in AND NEXT JANUARY OF 2025 I’ll b holding my box 📦 AMEN 🙏🏻

I felt God wanted me to write a book. I didn't think I was qualified, but He wouldn't leave me alone about it, so I wrote it. I prayed and prayed about it, and c contacted a "Christian " publisher. A year and a half later, Amazon and Barnes and Noble are still selling my book, Caught In The Storm, but I have not received a single royalty. Now I have a second book almost finished, but I'm paralyzed with fear. I don't know what to do next.
