I have two friends who my whole friend group jokes that they are dating. They were arguing, and I said (in English) “hellooooo, how long have you two been dating, because you bicker like an old married couple.” They said (in German, my home language) what? What exactly did you say, tell us!” (I spoke very fast so that they wouldn’t understand) I just laughed.
