I haven't been to Knoebels forever. For those that don't know the history of Knoebles. The theme park was started by the Knoebles family who did logging. They created a theme park for their employees to be able to relax after a hard days work and then they eventually opened it to the public.
I live a few miles from Knoebles and have neen going there since I'm a kid. I bring my family there now and it's a tradition. We absolutely love the place. Prices have gone up in recent years, but it's expected in this economy. The cost is still better than any corporate park. Free admission and free parking really help a working class parent like myself. If you're looking to have a great time on a date, family day, or even a good time with friends, I highly recommend Knoebles! This part of Pennsylvania is beautiful and is excellent for camping, fishing, hiking, boating, and anything else outdoors.
@@TheKrystalPalaceCosmotron hands down the best flat ride you have to ride it its so much fun it has Lights Music and a Fog Machine as well with Flashing Lights. It goes Foward and Backwards.
The carousel at Knoebels is truly magnificent. The brass ring is so fun! The entire park is a wholesome experience and the food options are the best I’ve ever seen at any amusement park.
We love Knoebels. We actually went last week and loved it as always. Our family has been coming for three generations. If you’re a camper, this campground is great. We stayed at Texas, T2, for many years, every year. It’s the best site in the campground.
My Dad's company used to have their annual retreat here. It was some of the best memories of my childhood. So many food, games, and rides in a beautiful setting.
That park is local to me. The roaring creek ripple ice cream is amazing. And they have good teaberry if you happen to like that, probably not not many people do. Weekdays are the best to go because of the handstamp they don't have it on the weekends.
I was just there on Sunday the 14th. I too got the brass ring but I will use my tickets next time. We had a group of 13 family members. The youngest was 2 and didn't want to ever get off the rides. Thanks for showing what you said is one of the most underrated parks.
This was very similar to Lake Quassy in Middlebury, CT. Free admission. And you decide what you want when you get in there. Can just walk around if you want. Now you have to pay $30+ just to walk in there! Glad this place kept to the old tradition.
Halushki was a staple food to feed the family when I grew up, cabbage, noodles & butter(cheap) We went there a lot with my parents & I then took my children. My grown kids still go. We used to camp sometimes, day trip sometimes, always good times & memories. Thanks for sharing!
In my opinion, Knoebels is one of the best parks out there! It was really interesting to see you spend so much time focusing on all of the food options, as I feel that's something that gets overlooked when people visit this park! My parents go once every year or two. When they do, they usually go for two days, with one day be dedicated to just trying all of the different foods (and a ride or two), then the other day for rides. That's how much this park has to offer! Phoenix is always a great ride, so smooth! Twister might be my personal favorite coaster! These two rides also compliment each other, so well! Then Flying Turns and Impulse each give you unique experiences, too. The park has two trains, both of which are nice rides. The sky ride provides amazing views! The Haunted Mansion and Black Diamond are both fantastic, among the best dark rides in the country. If you haven't ridden them, I'd recommend them, next time. The park also has a good log flume. And of course, there's the Carousel! It's a must! On a side note, you pointed out that little hand car ride, next to the slide that was closed. I remember riding both of those, when I was a kid. There's so much nostalgia, with this park. You really won't find many parks out there like Knoebels! It's like stepping back into history! Very glad you enjoyed it!
❤❤❤ what a beautiful Park. And like you say the food is Awesome. And the museums was Educational. History. But best part got to see Mom palace 🤩🥰😇 She was so Sweet 🥹 Thanks 🙏 For Sharing this park with us. 👍🙌👏❤😊
Same! “Stealing a ring” was a right of passage when I was a kid. I’m not condoning theft in anyway though! (If kids read this…don’t steal! I was a bad kid!😂)
Love that you went and enjoyed and shared the love for the park agree super underrated park and free parking and admission is amazing and beautiful area!! ❤️👍🏼
Great video! I've been there so many times. Phoenix is pretty smooth in the front. But in the back row, be prepared for a crazy fun, bumpy ride, that you don't experience in the front. If anyone rides the Phoenix, ride it twice. Once in front row, and once in back row!
Hey, this is supposed to be a secret. 😮 This is a Old School Amusement experience. No admission, free parking, and pet friendly. They have 2 wooden Rollercoasters, a huge log flume ride, the old carousel, and so much more. It's truly a nostalgic experience, family-friendly, including cost. The Knoebel's also has a connected campground for various types of camping from tents to RVs to all different size cottages to rent, a golf course, 😅and beautiful mountain surroundings. Something for everybody in your family to enjoy. If you ever visit PA, this is worth a visit, especially for the kids.😊
I went for the first time last year. I could only go because its free admission so im not "forced" to spend the whole day to get my moneys worth. I had limited time while on a long drive home. I went on the two big wooden coasters, the trackless one and the haunted house. Incredible, took about two hours and 20 dollars total, then i left and continued on with my day. Ironically.... I would like to spend all day there someday because there's so much else i want to do, and i don't just mean the rides.
I don't live in PA anymore but am a native to the area. I went to college nearby and a friend of mine is an art restorationist at the park. Halushki and pierogi is something you can find in public school lunches so it's very much a local "normal" thing.
I grew up near Knoebel’s and we would go 3-5 times a season. My husband, parents, family and friends threw a surprise 40th bday party for me under the cake pavilion and it’s one of my favorite moments of my entire life! I also caught my very first brass ring on the carousel. Knoebel’s is a hidden gem! The food is awesome, the prices are reasonable and it’s just a great place. The old school arcade is so fun. And the Coal Mining Museum/Knoebel’s Museum is really interesting as well.
man that slide ride used to be so amazing when i was a kid definitely my favorite there followed by the little hand crank trains! might have to go back now that im an adult!
k-nob is a magical place. if you like canada mints, try the teabury ice cream. you can snack your way across the patk. the haunted dark ride is a CLASSIC. also potato cakes.
Knoebels is the best, I've been going there for about 30 years now, Christmas and Halloween are fun too, they have a drive thru Christmas display but the fall is just great, the crystal pool is great too, just everything about Knoebels is.
I grew up just a short drive from Knoebel's. It was the most wonderful magical place to visit. The food is wonderful and the Polish Picnic Huluski, just add some salt and pepper, but slowly. I love living so close and visiting the park for a concert and food. Make sure you ride the grand carousel for the brass ring! 🎠
Just caught ur video here in PA. This place is right in my backyard and never been!! Thanks for sharing, we sometimes forget what’s so close to take in!! Earned a new sub here!!🤙🏼 lovin the adventures!!👍🏼
This is definitely one of my favorite parks. It's really nostalgic for me because we've brought my kids here multiple times a year when they were young. The Phoenix was my son's 1st big roller coaster, he went on when he was 5 year old around 2006 and loved it! The park has received multiple Golden Ticket Awards for Best Rides and Best Food. I hope you remembered to go back and get the big bag of Kettle Korn!! That's a must, best kettle korn ever! Great video!! ; )
Pal Krystal, you are as refreshing as this park in the summer…Great old fashioned (real)laughter and fun…Knoebels should use your video as a commercial…more and more people would come here..great job
Knoebels has the very best flyers.. and of course carousel and Haunted Mansion. We missed the carousel museum last year too so thanks for pointing it out! Going Saturday will have to check it out!
FYI next time you are there wait until night time to go on the skyline ski lift. The park lit up at night is just absolutely breath taking and brings a little more fright to the ride
Not really, but nice try….cheaper, quality foods and snacks, rides you don’t see anywhere else, good country folk then add your enthusiasm,it’s a great combo.
Knoebel seems knice! The rides are knifty. So, you don’t kneed a ticket for admission?…cool! That wooden roller coaster is a must! As far as food, I loved baked potatoes. I would also try that potato chip on a stick. For that Chocolate drink, I would go with the peanut butter. Great place! Thank you for the vid Knistal! Can you send me a map?
Wow - Great Park. I see they have camping - hang on we'll drive the motorhome 3000 miles and meet you there! Thanks Krystal...by the way, your mom is a hoot and a fun addition to your video. More Mom please!!
Reminds me of Bay Beach in Green Bay wi. The tickets at Bay Beach are less than 50 cents and never expires, however the park I'm talking is much smaller.
great video ! Did you know that a Carousel spins counter clock wise and a merry go round spins clock wise? I learned that at Hershey Park one year during the Christmas Holiday.
Oh hey Hyrule!! Awesome seeing you here! The ski lift isnt that bad actually, its way more low hanging then seen on camera. Whats your favorite ride at Hersheypark?
Yeah they're definitely changing that park a little too much because that meet and greet place used to be a candy store before it was that and always getting new rides
We been going for about 25 years now. OK I don't remember the stand but it's near the oasis kind of hidden away, they have cheese steak fries, golden fries, topped with shredded steak and cheese. Also in the food court they have pulled pork fries, golden fries pulled pork(with or without) BBQ sauce and cheese.. Did you know kenobles is rank for good just under Disney and universal. It's the Anti theme park park. I love it.
Knoebles only offers wrist bands on weekdays but their tickets never expire. There are also different levels to their wrist bands, one wrist band includes the roller coasters and one does not, neither includes the haunted house. I believe the haunted house is the only ride that is tickets only. The Skyslide has been shut down for a few years but is supposed to be refurbished. It’s a great kids slide. Edit…It’s been so long since I got a wrist band I didn’t realize they included coasters all the time now
