The cord detail can be made in matching or contrasting fabric, and the cord can be made in different sizes. this is why I watch tutorials: You said, "get a piping foot a tad larger than the piping". Thanks because little things like this, make sewing life a bit easier.

Good video. I would like to have seen how you tied off the last knot and how you hand stitched the backside of the knot so it looks neat.

Yes… perhaps I should have tried harder to show how to do the join. It was really hard to record because my hands kept getting in the way of the camera and I gave up so I left it out 😬

Just saw your explanation - however, I would not want to tackle this project without seeing the last step and it's a pity no one could help while you demonstrated this tricky step.
