Honestly, Knott’s does a better job with Christmas than Disney. The tree is prettier, the Christmas and joy and feeling around the park feels more authentic and genuine, the whole park is decorated not just Ghost Town unlike Disney where only Main Street is decorated. The Santa’s Village area in the back is amazing.

It looks looks and feels more Christmas-y than Disneyland, imo. They really do a great job with making the whole Park look festive, plus, all the Holiday entertainment they offer!

The late comedian; Gallagher, once said about Knott's was how this was his favorite themed park to perform at, because it was all about the locals. Unlike Disneyland; which was more tourist, and as he liked to joke, make you feel like a foreigner in your own country. Knott's was about locals, families, and the like. Which is why all the local artists and crafters are allowed to sell their wares inside the parks. Locals for locals.

When you say Knotts invited you, does that mean you got in for free?

Well I have a pass so I don’t have to worry about admission each time. But usually when the park has a big event they invite creators and media to check it out and they usually give out free food to try or free tickets for family and friends. Depends on the event
