Great work done in this video. We moved to Webuye Town, Muslim estate, in 1999, when i was 9 years old. I attended Webuye DEB between 1999-2005. Have been around till 2014 December. 9 years of being away makes me miss this great town and the nice people living in it. East or West, Webuye will remain to be my darling.

Thank you for that video which has highlighted the developments webuye town. My only problem with webuye is that it is haphazardly planned. I wonder if the Municipal council planning department ever function. We have unplanned structures and buildings emerging allover the place in all manner of shape . The Bungoma county Government concentrates most on Bungoma towns development and has little or nothing for webuye and kimilili. Dont forget that at one time these towns were at par with Bungoma. Let them balance their development agent well. We all need this towns to grow in their volume of investment and infrastruture to attract revenue for the county.

I stayed in Webuye from 1995 to 2001 with my family. We used to stay in SSH(Senior Staff Housing) quarters of Pan Paper Mills(PPM). PPM guest house is also here. I used to work as Instrumentation department head (Superintendent Engineer) in PPM. We enjoyed our stay in Webuye. We cannot forget the love we got from the local people here. My daughters studied in PPM primary school. We are now in India. I am trying to contact my colleagues. Felt very happy to see Webuye after a long time. PPM is now Rai Paper Mills.
