I think this may actually be your best reading to date. Also, major props to Dusk Spark for getting the intonations and inflections just right to make his two characters very distinctive. If you hadn't listed his name at the beginning, I would have thought it was two different VAs.

Now, everyone, come sit by the fireplace. I have a story to tell you~ It was a long, long time ago... like, almost yesterday! It all started after my weekly fight against an army of ninja gryphons. It was when a wild Losty appeared! I had passed their great test! A test that many take, but so few pass, even fewer come back sane. I was allowed to draw for them. But, I let my guard down, and one of the fallen ninjas turned into a bat. He threw poison darts at me with his bat/ninja magic. I realized, that I had little time to complete my task. I could've given up, I could've fallen and vanished into the realm of fail. ...... BUT I SAID "NO!" With my soul ablaze with righteous fury and channeling the soul of manliness itself; I picked up my pen, and started to draw! It was more than just another test, IT WAS A BATTLE AGAINST TIME, WILL, AND FATE! AND, I, DUSKY THE MAGNIFICENT, WAS GOING TO BE THE ONE WHO COMES OUT ON TOP! The battle was long and brutal. It was one of the most difficult tasks I've ever faced, I'd lost my mind within moments, my bones ached as if they'd been aged several years, my body and minded demanded that I sit down and rest. To combat the battle within, I brewed a nice, warm, cup of tea....... AND THEN SPLASHED IT IN MY FACE! THE BURN REMINDED ME THAT I HAD STUFF TO DO! In the end... I survived. Against all odds, I succeeded where others have failed. I'll never forget everything that happened. All the friends I made, all the friends I lost, all the foes I have slain, all the things I could've done; everything lead up to there, and I won, at long last, I finally fell into a deep slumber, until the time where I am needed once more. My last thoughts: "What will I do now? Will I ever truly be the same? I don't know, but I know this much... I regret NOTHING!" And that, dear friends, is the tale of how I finished up the artwork for this. The good news, I eventually did find my mind. : )

I think this was great reading and you should defineltly do more. (Honestly I'm OK with grims but id really like it if you read more comedy or some stuff that's less heavy).
